Nicest hotel Iāve ever stayed at in your standard āCorporate/Chain-Styleā hotel class. Bright and clean, everywhere! Staff very friendly, polite and accommodating.
We stayed in the King room with jetted Tub. As a contractor/designer, my hats off to Holiday Inn for FINALLY designing a well thought out room that is spacious, with convenient bright lights with easy accessible switches and the foresight to incorporated technology. I HATE hotels that have 2 lights in the room that need to be switched on at the bulb. As a wheelchair user, itās aggravating to not be able to turn on the lights easily. The ambient lighting feature was really nice; the wardrobe had lights shining upwards on top that gently lit the room.
Our room had 2 bedside USB charging ports and 2 plug receptacles, with two shelves on each side of the bed, two USB charging ports and receptacles under the TV with an HDMI direct connection wall plug for ONE of the large 55ā LED TVs, another 55ā TV with outlet and HDMI direct connection across from the in room Jetted Tub and another USB charging port in the desk lamp, along with 2 universal receptacles/plugs. The desk/workstation also had a direct internet connection. There was plenty of storage area with two large benches to set luggage and suitcases. The bathroom was very well lit and bright, the counters clean and clear of clutter. The shower had large bottles of (locked down) JR Watkins shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There were plenty of towels and a HAIR DRYER!!! That was not annoyingly attached to the wall, so you can use it in the room using the wall mirror (there was a nearby outlet) while someone else was in the shower.
The room also had a small bar area with a bar sink and counter, microwave, small fridge and Keurig machine. But the standout was the jetted tub, separated from the bed area by a divider wall and surrounded by clean tile and mirrors across from its own 55ā LED TV (with wall mounted HDMI port) and a bench/changing area. The tub filled very fast (within 5-7 mins with hot water) was huge and could fit two, cross-legged. A nice place to relax and watch TV. The tubs ON switch was on the adjacent wall but there was a convenient OFF switch on the edge of the tub.
The King Sized bed was comfortable. The duvet wasnāt too heavy but still felt comforting and breathed, no sweating. I really like the two styles of pillows, on firm and one soft. The mattress was firmer but still soft enough I could lay on my back, which is very rare (I have a spinal cord injury).
We didnāt get a chance to use the other amenities but breakfast was great. Everything was clean and bright. The staff was quick to offer help (Iām a wheelchair user) and the seating spacious with arm/wing chairs, benchās and table chairs.
I never write reviews. This is one of my first but I had to acknowledge this hotel, as it was one that FINALLY included all the small items I had always wanted to see.
Iām a wheelchair user and didnāt choose the accessible room because I wanted the jetted tub. My only complaint would be the bathroom was too small for my chair, which is a small, sports-style chair. I was able to get in and use it, but not close the door and therefore not access the shower. I wish hotels would recognize that wheelchair users would like to utilize this types of rooms as well. I also would love to see them recognize wheelchair users can be generalized into two types; those who just need a little extra room to maneuver around furniture, get in the bathroom and close the door in an otherwise a regular room, and those who need large bathrooms with roll in showers with benches, auto doors and counters free from obstructions underneath.
10/10 would stay here again. Outside of boutique hotels, theme or resort, and luxury hotels, this is by far one...

I asked very kindly if there was any possibility to be on the top floor with no one above me, and no one beside me sharing a wall.|The man called me within an hour to advise he will do his best to ensure I get that room.|He also assisted me with filling out a credit card authorization form before check in as my husband and I share a credit card, but it is only in his name. |I do a lot of work booking hotels for others, so I am aware the credit card for incidentals at check in needs to match your name. If it doesnt, a credit card authorization form is required.|He emailed me the form right away, and put all my information on file.||When I checked in, the woman at the front desk was so kind and friendly. She had the credit card authorization form waiting with all my information, and explained the times for the pool, and the free breakfast in the morning.|I was advise my room # was 502. |To my extreme surprise, not only was it the top floor, but also the very end corner unit with no one across from me or beside me.|The room was immaculate, spacious and clean. I had the best sleep that I've ever had at a hotel. Hotels usually case me alot of anxiety due to my autism and always hearing all sounds through the walls of other guests. I never heard a peepšš||If I could provide 1 possibility to make things better, the only pillows provided were extremely fluffy with 0 support or firmness. It would be nice to have an option on no firmness/more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is not for a room but for a group booking. We booked the conference room/Pool for our Family Christmas. Wish we had done this before! Staff is fantastic, better than the 5 star Adults only Resort my husband and I had recently travelled to. Too many positive interactions to mention them all, but we definitely felt pampered. Staff in the front lobby had a sign up directing guests to the lower level pool/conference room area. We received a key card to access the pool and handed it in when we were finished. The pool room was a comfortable temperature and so was the pool. Having a lifeguard as part of our package meant we could also use the slide, and it was a big hit. The conference room was clean and neat, and fully set up for our use, including a TV that came in handy to entertain a toddler. The location is excellent for ordering food as there were tons of restaurant options for our family members to pick from. And when one hated her choice, it was a quick phone call to grab her something else, saving the day. It was quiet and private as we had the conference/pool area to ourselves. There is a change room in the pool area, and bathrooms outside the pool/conference room area. These again were clean, neat and up to date. There was lots of parking and we found it easier to move the cars to the back and for our family members to exit the pool level with all their children and gifts when we were done our party and then hand in our key card at the front desk. We will definitely have to book here again. Woodstock is very lucky to have a hotel of this caliber and my husband and I will definitely be praising it to...
