This is a quirky place but how often do you get to stay in a Palafito on stilts with a top class restaurant above you. Don't expect luxury but don't expect hostel either, its a boutique hotel with bundles of charm. We really enjoyed it and from what we saw was a great choice for a few days on the island. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. I would recommend having a car if you stay at this place because access to Castro proper is a tough climb...

We had a car and parking was located on the street, very convenient to the hostel. ||The hostel is on the Gamboa River and we had a great time watching the birds. Restaurants are nearby along with a number...
