Hostal Pucon Sur — Hotel in Pucón

This hostel feels like staying with a family in a chalet. The rooms are spacious with good views and a charming pine smell. Hot water is plentiful but takes some time to come through. Rooms are clean. Beds were comfortable. It can get quite warm in the room when the sun is shining.||Breakfast is a fairly average buffet. The owners are happy for you to use their kitchen and there is a communal fridge. There is no laundry service.||It is 10 minutes walk from the Tur bus station and 15 minutes from the town centre.||At 30,000 CHP per night I think it represents good...

Check In was not possible at first but later it worked. The room was quite good but it smelled very moldy in the bathroom. When we checked out we had to pay, to deposit our backpacks there for a few hours until our bus left. We had that never before anywhere. Also the breakfast was pretty small. Additionally we forgot something in the room. After checking out they could have packed the item to our stuff but they didn't and they didn't answer our request online. I wouldn't recommend that place, better stay...

This hostel is a little strange. The thing is this is actually not a hostel, but a hotel - You get hotel quality, and atmosphere, for the price of a hostel. The rooms are clean, huge, high quality and the beds are huge. However, there´s no kitchen, and there´s no hostel atmosphere at nights. It is quite quier. The prices, however, are cheaper then other hostels I checked in Pucon.||Bottom line - excellent choice for excellent value, if you´re more into quality, and less into...
