I'm so surprised how bad this place was given the reviews - I really wanted to like it but the food was just so bad. Weirdly however the speed of service was some of the best I've had in the last month in Argentina.
The appetizer was plain bad. The bread wasn't cooked well and the cheese was just a tasteless lukewarm glob. Two of our four will happily eat anything with cheese in it, but they didn't even care for it.
I thought it might be a fluke but my gnocchi was terrible. It was a crappy store bought package (at least it tasted like the one I've bought from the grocery store here) with really terrible store bought sauce - like the kind where they just stuff a bunch of preservatives into a jar with some "tomato product". The mushrooms were okay. Two others ordered fettucini and said it was similarly bad. I could see it was clumped together but didn't taste either.
Also, when one person ordered a glass of wine, the bottle ran out prematurely. Instead of bringing another bottle, she was just left with a lackluster pour (see picture).
I have a suspicion either our experience was a fluke or some of these reviews are disingenuous. Either way, I would definitely lower your expectations if you...

Read moreWe were very excited about this but had mixed reviews. While the mains were nice, and the pasta tasted homemade, the arancini starter was bland and undercooked. It was served on a bed of what tasted like cold tinned tomatoes with no seasoning whatsoever. We also suspected the sauces in the mains may have been defrosted as it was a bit watery.
While the service was fine (but very quick) and the staff were friendly, there was a lack of atmosphere and we were only one of two couples there on a Saturday night.
Overall, we’d be skeptical to recommend eating here unless they...
