Hotel AngelMontt — Hotel in Puerto Montt

We stayed at Hotel Angelmontt for 2 nights in a 1st floor room.||Things we appreciated:|- very comfortable bed|- hotel-crisp clean sheets and bedding|- radiator in the bedroom|- nice ensuite|- best shower we've had in Chile (very hot and great water pressure)|- kind reception staff|- good location to city and great location to bus terminal||Not ideal for us:|- when the internet was good the connection was great, but it kept dropping out and sometimes wouldn't work at all.|- can be quite noisy. A terrible experience! Don´t go there!!! the receptionist was rude at arrival. She told us that they had cancelled the reservation because I didn´t reply to a message through booking which she had sent me 3 hours before arrival. I told her that I have an international phone number and no connection and she said that that was not her problem. When we asked her to speak to the manager she simply said no, and then she said that the manager never was there. Aftger some alterations she accused us of being rude and called her partner who arrived in a threatening way, I had to calm himdown first. This was horrible. I can´t believe that they have staff like that working...

Queda en una esquina en donde hay botillerías por lo que hay gente bebiendo por el sector. Es un hotel? grande, tiene varias habitaciones y en general se ve bien, como bonito y cuidado. Pero las fotos que muestran ofrecen algo mucho mejor en el detalle.

Primero nos pasaron una habitación en la que la luz del baño no funcionaba y tampoco tenía ventanas, el interruptor sobre la cama estaba suelto y los enchufes estaban en lugares incómodos. Reclamamos y querían que esperáramos al día siguiente porque se suponía irían a arreglar la luz. Dijimos que no, solo estaríamos una noche. Luego nos pasaron otra habitación que estaba en buen estado.

Las habitaciones que nos pasaron tienen camarotes además de la cama grande, a pesar de haber reservado una doble, y eso la hace sentir mucho más pequeña de lo que es.

No sirven desayuno por la ya absurda excusa del covid. Para entrar a las habitaciones entregan una tarjeta y se siente seguro, pero alguien (huésped) entró fácilmente cuando estábamos dentro. Nos dio mucha sensación de inseguridad. Al dormir es un poco incómodo porque las cortinas no son blackout, hay mucha claridad con las luces apagadas.

Y por último, la anfitriona no tenía muy buena cara ni disposición. O sea, entiendo que no guste la pega o algo así, pero cuando tu trabajo es atender clientes al menos finge. Sobretodo por el valor, que por todo lo mencionado, creo que es absurdo.

Perdón por lo largo, a pesar del poco tiempo que estuvimos no lo sentimos un buen lugar para quedarnos, solo queda super cerca...
