This place is great if you´re planning to spend most of the time on tours to the desert or other surroundings. It´s pretty basic, but the beds are really comfy and guarantee a good nights sleep. Our experiences with the warm water were pretty mixed, I myself had bad luck with it. The people working there are really nice, forthcoming and welcoming. We had a lot of trouble with our planning of the tours due to a national strike on the airports, but the staff did a really good job on last-minute booking our trips. And they even invited us to their Christmas Eve´s BBQ and it was a lot of fun with really tasty, home-made food. There were several downsides, however. First, we showed up and the room looked like it was being stayed in by someone else. They removed the stuff immediately, but it was not the best way to feel welcome. Also, it was really cold and there was no central heat. There was only water during the day and not after 8pm (though they say this is true everywhere in San Pedro). Lastly, the place gets pretty noisy and the noise carries almost perfectly...
