Hostal Los Guindos — Hotel in Temuco

A nice place to stay in. We stayed in the cottage room which had had a bathroom included, most of rooms had shared bathroom. The is a shared kitchen and living room. You can bring your own stuff or groceries to cook something. The was no breakfast included but these is a Lider market (wallmart) 2 blocks from the hostal, so you can prepare it yourself. If you don't want you can breakfast on the street at 2 more blocks from the lider market. The room was cozy, clean, no bed bugs, far from the road so it was quite and relaxing. We do have some trouble asking for towels because the clerk arrives to the hostal a little bit late - 9am, so if you want to leave early ask for everything at night. I...

It is a really bad experience that we had in this hostal in Temuco. Small, claustrophobic rooms, bad smelling kitchen which is close to the room and the drunk guests wandering around in the night. Nobody at the reception almost all the time, and the dogs barking under the windows. A nightmare, really. Such a shame to keep the place...
