I just this hotel purely because of its excellent gym. Most of the hotels around this price point have a “gym room”, which is quite literally 2 treadmills; however, this was fully equipped with a smith machine, bench press, squat rack, cable machine and most other machines you’d find in a normal commercial gym. They also have a sauna and a steam room, which is an added bonus. Upon checking in, one of the girls grinned rather childishly and looked at her colleague, which signaled to me that she didn’t speak English and he did, and therefore needed to serve me. I can speak enough Chinese to manage day to day life in a hotel, though I did notice that all the staff would smile and make a silly little laughs when I tried to communicate with them, which I didn’t enjoy. I think I got lucky with my check-in clerk but I doubt the rest of the staff speak English, for which I don’t judge them - after all, it’s not a five star chain, but please do take this in to consideration if you’re planning to come here. On the opposite side of the check in desk there is a little coffee bar which serves from 10am until 10pm, though it is not manned so you will have to ask a member of staff, who will then get the junior baristas, so if you’re in a hurry, I wouldn’t advise waiting. The restaurants that you have access to are actually located inside the mall and are effectively an external vendor, though you will get a discount if you show them your room card. I cannot comment on the quality of the food because I didn’t dine, though their literature looks delicious. The room itself was pleasant enough and is around what you’d expect at the price point of about 70 dollars per night. The room does not have a bath, only a separate shower and toilet, but because they are listed as a business hotel (conference facilities on 7th floor), they don’t expect you to be requiring lavish facilities. I also noticed that the hotel was quite cold, and much surprised me because I’m always sweating buckets; however, that simply might be due to a temperature difference between outside and inside, not that it was too low. Here is my summary: English check-in clerk, though not sure if always available Free coffee in the lobbyMall can be accessed from the lobby and certain floors Gym exceeded expectations, including sauna and steam room Coffee machine/coffee sachets would have been a nice extra, though not a huge deal. Hotel a bit cold, but like I said, my sweating body could have been reacting to temperature difference. Although the location will seem good on the map, it is very difficult for taxis to get in and out, and because of the myriad of bridges, intersections etc, walking around the area was a nightmare. TV does not offer international channels, though in my experience, this is standard for...
Read moreI had an exceptional stay at this hotel. From the moment we checked in, the service was top-notch— the front desk staff even upgraded our room for free, which was such a pleasant surprise. The facilities were modern and well-maintained, and the décor was stylish and inviting. The highlight, though, was how clean and comfortable the room was. The bed was cozy, and the soundproofing ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel also provided thoughtful touches like complimentary sleep earplugs and a warming eye mask, which made our stay even more comfortable. While the hotel restaurant was undergoing renovations, and there was some light noise after 8 AM, the earplugs they provided did a great job of minimizing any disruption. What truly stood out was the exceptional attention to detail. It happened to be my friend’s birthday during our stay, and when we returned to the hotel in the evening, the lobby manager approached us and warmly wished my friend a happy birthday. We were both surprised and delighted that he remembered us amongst all the guests. To make the occasion even more special, they presented us with a delicious birthday cake—such a thoughtful gesture! The location is also excellent. Right across the street is a fantastic dumpling and wonton restaurant called Bao Fu Jiao, which I highly recommend. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located near the subway station, making it easy to...
Read moreMy experience exceeded all expectations. The comfort, the elegant interior, and the outstanding facilities truly impressed me.While the exterior facade may not be as striking as those of other renowned hotels, the rooms are modern and beautifully designed. They feature smart lighting and automated curtains, enhancing the overall ambiance. In terms of amenities, the hotel boasts a spacious and well-equipped gym, perfect for fitness enthusiasts, as well as a laundry room where guests can wash and dry their clothes, with the added convenience of having them delivered to their rooms.I would also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to hotelier 赵香兰. Her exceptional dedication to guest service truly sets this hotel apart. When I accidentally left my parcel behind while heading to the airport, I called the hotel in a panic. She not only took the time to locate my parcel but also went above and beyond to ensure it was safely handed over to the courier. Her attentiveness and willingness to assist made a significant difference in my experience, and I am incredibly grateful for her kindness and professionalism. It is clear that she genuinely cares about the guests and their needs, which adds a personal touch that is often hard to find in the...
