Paco Hotel-Guangzhou Tiyu Xilu Metro Branch — Hotel in Guangzhou City

I stayed here for 3 nights with friends. The room was very clean, with good air conditioning, a soft and comfy bed, and a nice bathroom. There was also free Wi-Fi and a hairdryer provided, but no fridge in the room, which might be inconvenient for some travelers.

The staff mostly speak Chinese, but they patiently try to communicate in other languages using translation devices, which I found very thoughtful and kind. Late check-in was no problem either.

However, the room we got (Room 8312, twin bed) was noticeably smaller than the other rooms my friends stayed in — it was the first room down the hallway and felt much narrower. Honestly, this room shouldn’t be priced the same as the others because of how small it is.

Breakfast was served on the 4th floor and it was quite okay — not amazing, but decent enough to start the day.

One downside was the strong cigarette smell in the reception area. Luckily, there was no smell in the room itself.

Another plus: the hotel provides laundry facilities, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment, which is very convenient for longer stays.

The location is excellent — just a short walk to Tiyu Xilu Metro Station, making it super easy to get around the city. There are convenience stores and big shopping malls like Parc Central nearby, all within walking distance. You can also rent a bike right outside the hotel and explore the city — really fun!

And just next to the hotel, there’s a small craft beer bar — a perfect spot to chill every evening. The staff there are super friendly and welcoming. Such a nice surprise!

I had a pleasant stay at Paco Hotel Guangzhou. The location is excellent and very convenient, especially with easy access to the metro and nearby amenities.One highlight was their self-service laundry room, available from 8:30 AM to 11:00 PM. On the day I used it, there were many guests doing laundry, and I really appreciated that the hotel extended the hours until 12:20 AM to accommodate everyone. It was also a great moment to connect — I even made two new friends while waiting in the laundry area!The reception staff were helpful and attentive, doing their best to meet our preferences.
