This hotel is located in Renminnanlu in a budget district of Guangzhou very close to the Zhujiang River promenade and Shamian Dao, the city's most attractive tourist site. Access to the hotel is usually by foot or bus from Haizhu Square station, although closer stations have now opened : Jide Lu and Culture Park.||The rooms are nicely furnished with LCD TV, fridge, telephone, note paper and pencil, toothbrushes, comb, shower gel, a good shower, plenty of towels and toilet paper and comfortable beds. The rooms not overlooking the road are the quietest.||I have stayed in this hotel many times - on the 5th floor only where Ms Lu, the manager, gives me a warm welcome. The staff on the 5th floor are pleasant and friendly, but the same cannot be said of the lobby staff, except one lady who used to work on the 5th floor. Check-in and -out procedures are now carry out at the front desk. Therefore, be prepared for rude and unpleasant treatment at the front desk from most of the lobby staff. Read moreI stayed for a week for the month of June2015 and even though there is a language barrier they never failed to initiate to help at the same time offer to clean our room. They help us carry our baggage. The location is ideal for us, it's also near line6 train station which is an accessible to everything, to food, transportation, and a lot more. What I like about their service is when after our visitors paid a visit they would check on us if we are still alright. The only thing that distracts me is their hard mattress and temporarily their hotel is under construction but was grateful that my allergic rhinitis haven't occur. The overall hotel is run down, dirty and there is no English speaking staff.||In addition you have loud construction just nearby, they will work until late night (I am talking about 1am...)||Whoever stayed in the room before was smoking heavily, despite the no smoking policy.||||2 stars is quite generous.
