Xinhua Hotel — Hotel in Guangzhou City

The hotel's proximity to the mobile accessories market NANFANDASHA AND NEW ASIA was a major advantage. Being so close to the market allowed for convenient access to a wide range of mobile accessories, which was a definite plus for Mobile Accessories wholesalers.

Room and Facilities: The room I stayed in was adequately furnished, though it lacked any luxurious amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. The room had basic facilities such as a television, air conditioning, and a private bathroom.

Staff and Service: The hotel staff was generally polite and helpful. They were responsive to my requests and inquiries. However, there were occasional language barriers, as English proficiency seemed limited among the staff members. Nonetheless, they made an effort to assist me to the best of their abilities.

Cleanliness and Maintenance: The overall cleanliness of the hotel was acceptable, although it could have been better. There were a few instances where I noticed cleanliness issues in common areas, such as hallways and the lobby. However, the room was well-maintained during my stay.

This hotel is located 45 minutes drive on a taxi from CAN airport. (Maximum 150 yuan on a general taxi including the highway, but airport taxi service is expensive. where they charge 450 Yuan.) adjacent to pearl river, but many rooms facing the opposite direction (City view). city view is not the best, you are just looking at some ugly and dirty constructions. and tons of electronic spare part wholesale shops in close vicinity. ||||This is a 3star hotel, and 98% of the hotel staff doesn't speak English. please be ready for that. and bell boy service is not available, you have to manage your own luggage when check-in and check-out. Most of the time they get annoyed when I speak in English, (Sorry China, I can't speak your language). I got a room in 8th floor, facing city. Amenities were okay, only Chinese tea was available, unfortunately no coffee. ||||Room service and cleaning was just okay, and people smoke everywhere even the no smoking sign is displayed. so all common areas were smelly. 3rd floor links to one of the wholesale shops so you have to expect carts full of goods every time you get in to the elevator.||||They don't have a Spa even though some of the booking sites say that they have.||||There's a restaurant called "Moon Bar Cafe" on lobby, and they serve you good food and cocktails....

This is a place built nearly a 100 years (85-90 yrs as the local says) in old city of Guangzhou. The surroundings are lively 24hrs with halal, indian, Chinese and western restaurant and convenient stores. OAetwne of the main reasons I book the place is for the price and location, close to my field of interest, which is, mobile accessories. But there are also other items such sunglasses and fashion accessories. The price is reasonable for the service provided. Condition of room is very average for price. It is spacious with good bedding, but a/c has no remote and the toilets are very old type. They need a face lift of the rooms with immediate change of the carpet and painting.|If you are business man like me who leaves at 10am and returns at 9pm, this is a place for you. Especially if you are a mobile accessories field businessmen and budget spenders, this will be your paradise.|No mosquitos, maybe one or two males who doesn't bother much.|5 mins walk to cultural park metro|Mostly city view rooms are cheap.|Don't take your wife or girlfriend here, cleanliness is below par.|Surprise item would be the mini fridge in which I left a pepsi (remembered it when I'm writing this review)but would love to have a microwave too so could re heat the frozen...
