Riverside YHA — Hotel in Guangzhou City

Riverside YHA(江畔国际青年旅舍). If you go to Guanzhou and won't matter with the hotel to stay in, my suggestion is to take this Riverside YHA.

Although this is a hostel with a low price, offers you quality and comfort. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the bedroom is nice. It's not easy to make a reservation at a place like this because there is a lot of demand and you have to make a reservation 2 or 3 months in advance. This hotel provide you with Bar , Dining room, Mini library, reading room, entertainment areas and other facilities for all guest while staying there.

This hotel is located on the main road and also on the riverbank of Pearl River, which is well known for the colorful lights at night. So you can go walk and enjoying the sceneries along the river. Besides walking you can also sail by boat and enjoy all the beauty. On the riverbank, there's a pier that sells the ticket for sailing only includes a drink and snack or a ticket for a dinner package on board.

I stayed for 2 nights in dorms located at first floor. I was hesitant to book it first but after carefully checking the location I changed my mind. Its located just 100 meters next to the ferry pier and its also a last stop for Orange buses. You can go to Shamian island by taking a ferry for just 1 yuan. You can also go to other areas not just Shamian Island. To reach here just get off the Exit B on Fangcun Metro and its a 10 mins walk towards pier or catch an Orange bus (I dont remember the no.) which goes every 5-10 mins. Lots of eateries within 5 mins of walk and there is a FamilyMart store right outside which is open 24 hours! good place to grab a beer or some midnight snack. The pier is beautiful and and lots of people can be seen walking. Also a good spot for taking pictures. ||Dorm itself was good and located on first floor.
