A nice and very decent hotel, away from the crowded streets in GZ.. ||With impeccable staffs (from doorman, to reception, to house-keeping), very obliging and helpful. Though I thought it was a little ex... ||Check-in was quick and friendly..||Room was great (got an upgrade to a Business Suite King) for 4 nights.. clean, cosy and quiet.. great shower and a heated toilet seat! The warmth make it "feel-so-good" sitting there first thing in the morning! ||Room has microwave oven, induction-hob, large fridge, Samsung washer-dryer (can travel lighter with lesser clothes).||Wi-Fi was rather weak though.. not sure if it was due to my older mobile device.. I was able to send out files thru my laptop though.||Breakfast was decent (local and Japanese offering), not a big spread but enough choices to fill you up. Definitely so much better than running around looking for something nice to eat in the morning.||The only con is the distant to the train station.. no opportunity to try it during this trip cos it's more convenient to take taxi to Pazhou Convention Centre than the train.||Overall, pleasant stay.. wouldn't mind staying again in my next...
Read moreThe hotel is comfortable and clean. However, the rooms have a ridiculous set of cupboard doors. In order to use the kettle, you need to close the TV cupboard then open the kettle cupboard and finally reverse the process to watch the TV again. After a day or two, I found this activity really annoying.|The TV only has one English speaking news programme and it doesn't have either BBC or CNN.|Wifi strangely only worked occessionally. It is not on a VPN so access to Gmail, youtube, and google-maps it not possible from here.|The area is not good for food, the nearby restaurants did not look appetising. |The hotel is not located close to the centre and there are no railway stations nearby. |Taxis are relatively cheap if you can get them to use their meters (some drivers refuse and try to negotiate a price instead). The hotel door staff are very good at finding cabs and helping with destination details.|Food at the hotel is OK but not exciting. There is no bar and associated coffee shop tends to close at 23:00.|I found that all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and all very...

Ca. 80% of the long term residents are Japanese, what means the hotel is very quite and clean.||I recommend to get a room to the rear like I have, the compound there is really quite and green. The front is louder because of the street, so it is better to get a room in one of the upper floors.||The breakfast is great, 3 days per week service (cleaning and new towels) and the staff is very friendly and nice.||The location is a little bit outside, but it is easy to get a taxi and downtown is just 10-15 min by Taxi. Furthermore there is a bus station in front of the hotel. Just the underground is 15min by foot.||The street around is typical Chinese with many small restaurants, a laundry service (shirt cleaning and ironing for just 10RMB), our famous street food restaurant and a cinema.||For me it is a great place and I will stay until I...
