We stayed two nights while in Hangzhou and had a great time. The hotel amenities were great - the rooms clean and comfortable with great city views, and had all the details of a 5 star hotel. Chinese hotel or International hotel - it is overall just a great hotel. Food was great which a large choice of western and Asian food at the dinner and breakfast buffets which catered for all needs including children, prices were very reasonable for the quality too. Service at the hotel was great (the assistant manager who spoke some English particularly helpful) and it was very easy to get a taxi outside the hotel. It is very conveniently located near the main railway station if needed, but otherwise everything is a quick taxi ride away and very cheap. We found it too far to walk to West Lake and on a busy uninteresting road so not the best location if you want to be near west lake. The room is spacious with the upgrade. We enjoyed our stayed here with the limited view of west lake from our room. The breakfast is good with variety of selection. Very near to metro station as well.
