The hotel location and prominent skyscraper made it easy to identify especially when one is on foot on the gorgeous beachside walkway including the Wuxi Square. The room was spacious and well-kept. The only glitch was the rude service from the front desk service staff (LQ) when I had to check out early in the morning at 6am. Having paid for my hotel bill the night before, I left my hotel card at the front desk and had to request for a replacement card. Upon check out the next morning, the staff insisted that I need to pay for the misplaced card despite of my explanation. She then slammed numerous cards on the scanner impatiently. Read moreThis was a comfortable and cool hotel to stay at during our time in Qingdao. We had a junior suite that overlooked the sea. At night you could see the buildings light up and in the morning you could see people walking along May 4th Square. It is conveniently close to mainly sites and you can always find your way back at night because the building is extremely tall and stands out. The staff was very helpful and friendly with our many questions during our trip about how to get places or where to go. I recommend walking around a bit to find some nice small restaurants and cafes.
