We're on an expat assignment and we've been happy to call the Fraser Suites Top Glory our home in Shanghai.||||Before relocating our relocation specialist showed us 20+ properties around Shanghai. ||We quickly realized that a serviced apartment was the best choice for our family of 4 with two teenagers here as well.||||The location is excellent for us in Lujiazui in Shanghai's financial district.||Many of the units feature spectacular views of the Huangpu River and the Bund across the river.||||Our unit is tastefully appointed though we did a bring a number of things from home to make it seem more like home for us. ||||The staff is great/helpful and Kevin at the front desk is exceptional.||Everyone from the security men at the front gate (they salute when you return home) to the cleaning people, restaurant staff have been terrific.||||Every day breakfast is served down in the restaurant and we've found it be very good.||The outdoor pool is open in the summer and there are two gyms as well.||||If there's ever been an occasional small issue when we alert the staff they're right on it.||||We've also had a number of guests from the States visit us in Shanghai, and many of them have stayed here as well during their stay based on our recommendation and they've loved it as well.||||When we go home, it will be...
Read moreMy niece graduated from NYU - Shanghai, and my family (all eleven of us!) flew in from the USA to be present! My challenge was to find a place that would fit ALL of us without knowing the area. I came across this gem and it was perfect! |I reserved two, three bedroom apartments and there was plenty of room. Because we were there for five days, I wanted a place with a kitchen and washer/dryer. The Fraser not only met, but exceeded my expectations. |The 13th floor had beautiful views of the river and the 3rd floor, of the pool/courtyard. The breakfast buffet was delicious and a variety of made to order omelets, waffles, and a great selection of other breakfast/brunch items.|The property is very secure and gated. It is within walking distance to the ferry that takes you to The Bund. It is also within walking distance to MANY malls, restaurants, the Pearl Tower, and not too far to the campus.|My niece will be graduating from Duke University outside of Shanghai in two years and I am already looking forward to my next stay.|Lastly, I have to say that the staff was excellent! A group of eleven (with only one of us who spoke the language) could be a challenge to any staff, but the team here was patient and understanding- thanks to all for making our journey a pleasant one!...
