Home Inn . Neo (Shanghai Shanghai New Int'l Expo Center Longyang Rd Subway Station Store) — Hotel in Shanghai

We are Pinoy from Philippines (I uploaded the actual photos for you to check). We choose this INN because it is near to our purpose attending to Shanghai Expo. This INN is very near at SNIEC (Shanghai New International Expo Center), around 10mins walk. There's nothing much to do in the area. But there are few small & cheap restaurants, convenience stores and pharmacy beside the INN. I also read the reviews of this INN that during EXPO week they increase their prices about 3x (thats true, i find it expensive compare to our stay in Nanjing Road which is a prime location for tourist). There is no elevator because it has only 2floors. Our room is good for 3 adults. One thing is very negative for us is that our room smells cigarette the whole time (NO WINDOWs for ventilation) So expect that your blankets, bed, pillows, towel smells cigarette. the breakfast buffet will cost you 25rmb/person which is decent enough to fill your stomach and opens 7AM but be sure to go early because the sitting capacity and the area is small (around 20 capacity). Still, this Inn is cheaper compare to 4-5star hotels...

Front office staff was kind and check in and check out was easy. Rooms are very compact and the price was little high. You do not even have space to keep your luggage. One cannot walk around inside the room. I noticed the bathroom is little spacious compared to bed room area. I spent more time at the lobby than in room at day time. Lobby have space with chairs and good wifi. Room wifi was also good and fast. Room and bathroom was clean with good hot water. Chinese breakfast with bread and jam. One should use chop sticks to apply jam on the bread. They dont provide or keep a knife of the table. No butter. Breakfast was average. Food delivery robot was very active in delivering food to rooms. Location is very near to SNIEC which is a plus point and that's why people pay more money to stay at this hotel even though the rooms are very small. Super market, sim card, restaurants, watsons store, drug store are around the corner. Nearest mall is just 600 meters away which is attached to Kerry hotel.
