Jadelink International Hotel — Hotel in Shanghai

When we arrived we had to pay a $600 (yes, 600 Aussie dollar) deposit as well as the accommodation. ||So make sure you have a spare $600. It takes a week after you leave to return into your bank account. ||As of December 2017, they are renovating the cafe. We were initially placed on the 5th floor and the Reno work was quite loud. ||We asked reception when the Reno finishes and they advised us it was 9 o'clock at night. So we asked to move rooms and they put us on the 10th floor. No fuss, very helpful and we couldn't hear the Reno. ||Gym was ok, weights and bench, multi machine, treadmill and bike. ||Nice staff, clean rooms and good location. Shopping mall nearby and good food choices near the station. ||Easy to get to the bund...

overall the hotel looks nice, the location is not to bad and its close to a subway station.||The room is ok and clean and the bathroom is not big but has everything you need.||BUT... my room was hot ( i was at the topfloor so maybe that was the problem) but turning on the airco was no option because it makes around the same noise as a airplane passing by. Outside was also a kind of ventilator turning making also a lot of noise. Stayed 3 nights at this hotel, and it's been great! The room was thoughtfully designed. It had good location and in-room facilities. Convenient access to a vibrant neighborhood and shopping center with great restaurants just a few minutes away on foot. However, there was unexpected nighttime construction noise. Upon expressing my concern, the manager assured me my room was in a quieter part of the hotel and generously offered 3 days of complimentary breakfast.
