I have never reviewed a Hotel before but I have had to say something. This Hotel has been the worst Hotel that I have stayed at in Shanghai. After 10+ years staying at various Hotels all over China, this is the worst. It was described at booking time as a 4 star + on all the booking sites. It is 3 star at best and fails in soo many areas. It is a shame that Accor and Mercure have put their name to this Hotel and proves that they dont check their own product. The worst breakfast ever and the rooms are average at best. No concierge, porters or anyone that can talk English. The Hotel rooms are dirty, smelly and the food unpalatable. These are just a few things. Will not stay there ever again and will look at the ratings for this chain with doubt...
Read moreThe bathroom has a smell, overall the room and bed is comfortable. It's about 1.5km away from the metro. Won't stay here again. The stadium is under construction so need to walk one big round to get to the metro. For those with cars OK. Or taking didi. For those walking stay somewhere else. Or if you wanna buy tea from tien shan tea city this place is OK for tea drinking and buying whole sale. The price for the room is reasonable. Gym is lousy. No chin up bars.
