Linyin Holiday Hotel — Hotel in Shanghai

The hotel was nice but the booking group at the airport in Shanghai charged us $166 AUD for two adults for one night, this is robbery deliberately of tourists. This was supposed to include taxi to and from the airport. The taxi driver also charged us $15 AUD for the trip back to the airport. Also the hotel who saw the invoice said nothing. This group had a woman standing outside the entrance of hotel Dazhong guiding people to the booking shop just 20 metres away. The booking group of course conveniently didn't give us a receipt and wouldn't give us brochure of the hotel that they were supposed to be charging us for. The brochure had a different hotel name on it. I have chosen "poor" due to the fact that they were given a copy of invoice and choose the booking group side not...

The services are good in following reason:1. Front desk is kind enough to assist booking car as I don’t have China number. 2. Free pick up from airport, suit your time upon your arrival and call.3. Free delivery to and fro Disneyland with very good tour guide before entrance, they also form WeChat group to keep updating on where and when to get the bus. 2 things I dislike about :1) Water heater works bad. I stay here three days on different days at different rooms. All works the same. The temperature changes every 5 seconds automatically from cold to hot. Google Maps shows as Linyin Holiday Hotel instead of Linting Holiday Hotel on Agoda. Don't let the prices fool you. It is a good hotel. Contemporary looking rooms. Big and spacious. Breakfast was included for the room selection we chose and it was a nice spread. Local food restaurants nearby which is what we were in to. Free transportation. Go to the information desk at the airport and have them call the hotel to arrange pick up. A lot of locals stayed there, bus was almost full in morning to airport. Great value for money. Will stay...
