Vienna Hotel - Shanghai PVG Branch — Hotel in Shanghai

This is a gem of a hotel and I am so glad that I found it. It is close to Pudong Airport and there is a shuttle bus which runs hourly to and (possibly) from the airport. There are many budget hotels in the airport area but, for the price that the Vienna charges, I doubt that you would find better value for money. ||||Check in took no more than three minutes and I was also given a fruit pack with prepared watermelon, orange and mini tomatoes. I was informed about the departure times for the shuttle bus and told about the wifi which thankfully has no password, unlike some other complicated methods of logging in which I have experienced. ||||The room was small but very neat and spotless. The bed was very comfortable and sleep quality excellent without any noise coming from other rooms. I didn't smell a hint of cigarette smoke which I am particularly aware of normally. This is very unusual for a Chinese hotel.||||There is a small convenience store near the reception area which was very welcome as I felt like a cold beer and wasn't sure where to go and get one as the hotel didn't look to be in a very busy neighbourhood. ||||On arrival back at reception the following morning the checkout took around 30 seconds and I was given a food pack to see me through to breakfast. The shuttle bus was waiting and departed at 6h00 sharp. The trip to the airport takes around 20 minutes.||||All in all a great hotel which I would recommend to anyone needing a nice clean hotel to stay in close to Pudong airport.||||Don't confuse this hotel with the Vienna International hotel which is not...

Near to airport (less than 20mins) and Disneyland (20mins) Free pick up and drop off from airport to hotel, vice versa 👍Free pick up and drop off from hotel to Disneyland ,vice versa🫶The hotel lobby smells good. 👍 The room was neat and clean but there’s a bit smell of cement (cuz the hotel renovated last year) but that’s bearable. 👌 You can hear the noise outside when someone’s talking, but not totally the noise of running vehicles outside. The staffs are approachable , the breakfast buffet was great 👍😻 Suggestion: You may put some sticker or banner on the dashboard or side of the hotel van “ Vienna’s Hotel Pick Up Van” so the guests who just arrive at the airport and who doesn’t know how to speak or understand Chinese knows which van they can get into. ( Apps translations can do) but I hope someone will know how to verbalise even a basic English.Overall it was a great experience for us . 🫶🫶🫶 Definitely will book in this hotel again once we come back in Shanghai💙🩵 and we will recommend this hotel to our friends , countrymen and colleagues....
