Highly Recommended Hotel in ShenZhen FuTian AreaLocation:This hotel is located in a strategic spot with convenient access to anywhere in the city. The nearest MRT station is HuangGangCun Station, with three exits (C1, C2, and D) right in front of the hotel. If you have luggage, use exit C2, which has an escalator to the main street leading to the hotel. Be aware that there is no elevator going down to the station, so it’s easier to use the stairs from exit D for luggage. Alternatively, you can walk to the right side of the hotel and use the zebra crossing to find exit A with an escalator, which requires an 8-10 minute walk without shade. On the left side of the hotel, a 5-minute walk will take you to FuMin Station, exit C, near Ji Hotel. There are many restaurants and a local night market nearby, as well as a Starbucks and convenience store in the compound.Room:It got all you need. The room had a strong AC. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the smart toilet and separate shower and basin. Everything is controlled via a smart panel board. They upgraded my room for free, which had spacious space and a great city view of Shenzhen’s iconic building. The room included a free minibar with beer, tea equipment, a big LED screen TV, and a XiaoDu device for music and forecasts. Amenities included an iron and ironing board, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, comb, razor, cotton earbuds, a powerful hairdryer, comfortable bathrobe and slippers, clean towels and blanket, a recycled bag, shower cream, conditioner, shampoo, lotion, handwash, tissues box, water bottle and etc. The hotel also provides free laundry and dry service, a comfortable king-size bed and pillows, and bright rooms with good sunlight and lighting. My room is at Floor#18. Excellent soundproofing.Shower:The shower had strong water pressure and 24-hour hot water with quick heat-up.Smart Toilet:The smart toilet was excellent.Extended Stay:I extended my stay for another two nights. I love this hotel. Bar streets and a mall near Exhibition MRT Station are just one stop away from HuangGangCun Station. A Didi/taxi ride back to the hotel at night costs CNY 16-19 and takes about 10 minutes.From hotel to FuTian High-Speed Train Station:It’s only 9-12 minutes by MRT from this hotel, one way trip cost only CNY2/pax. Take MRT line 7 from HuangGang exit D, change to Line 3 at ShiXia to FuTian Station (3 stops), or take Line 4 from FuMin Station exit C directly to ShiMinZhongXin Station exit D (2 stops). I suggest downloading the Amap app for detailed routes in China.Service:The receptionist and housekeeping staff are friendly and willing to accommodate any issues at any time. They clean the room every day without reminders, refill amenities daily, and provide laundry service, including folding, within a day. They also offer breakfast for an additional fare.Additional Services:You can order food and shop online, and request the seller to send deliveries to this hotel by informing the front desk in advance. This is our first time staying at Intercity SZ(深圳福田皇岗城际酒店) and surprisingly the experience is unexpectedly good. We reserved 2 rooms and arrived at the hotel at 1030am on 30/8/2025.We paid around $240 for upgrading to a better room on the 16th floor. Our observations and comments are as follows:1. Early check-in. We arrived at the hotel at 1030am and can offer a room within 15 minutes. 2. Late check-out is offered though we do not insist.3. Transparent pricing table 4. This is my second visit to this hotel. It’s very clean and new. And the amenities are great.The in-room TV has screencasting so I could watch whatever. Breakfast is fine and supper is complimentary. What’s the most special is that the gym room is separated, one person per cubicle with different types of gym machines. There is a TV in each of the gym cubicles which I could do karaoke at the same time.
