Wyndham Grand Shenzhen-Conf. Hall — Local services in Shenzhen

Great stay and experience! We were all the way up on the 35th floor for our anniversary, which was a really nice surprise! It had like 260 degree views of the city and wow! The room is a suite, with a couch and seating area, the room has a king bed and comfy sheets and blankets. Rooms are clean, and everything is wiped down well. I have a habit of recleaning our rooms with own cleaning stuff and the floors are clean, no dirty white socks! It's shenzhen and none of the hotels are brand new. But I have heard horror stories about 5 star hotels even having cockroaches, or hairs on the bed sheets, yuck! But not at Wyndham Futian! They have a bathtub and a spacious area for the closet. The views are amazing! Stay on a weekend, and around 8:30, you're gonna see an amazing light show at the civic center from your room. The only complaint I have is that the lighting isn't the best. I didn't want to have the curtains open all day because of the UV rays being so high up, so when the curtains closed, the lighting isn't good. The 2nd is the AC could be stronger LOL, especially during the heat wave. The staff are really nice and helpful. My husband got sick, so we couldn't go out or do much, and they brought us water so many times, and Ender I believe, is his name is the best. Wyndham, if you're reading this, give that guy a raise! Loved this hotel. The hotel were all lovely. There is a language barrier but translate on your phone quickly solves 90% of your queries with the staff.

Everyone from the lovely cleaner to the amazing night staff who went above and beyond trying to retrieve my phone from a taxi that my phone fel into as I was getting out.

I stayed in the (i think) executive suites (room 2902) and the details were lovely, the sound was minimal, the views were amazing, with the floor to ceiling glass and large bathtub to accompany.

The hotel location is excellent. The breakfast buffet was beyond good. Great and beautiful areas. The room was nice with excellent views, however it had some sort of a dusty/humidity smell. The food at the lobby restaurant could be better, it felt a bit like frozen food. Check in time was 2pm, however, the hotel kept delaying it without any explanation other than “we’re fully booked”. We were not given a room before 4:30pm, more than 2 hours after regular check in time.
