Tai Zi Hotel — Hotel in Shenzhen

The Tai Zi Hotel in Shenzhen (Shekou) is a nice enough hotel, around 2.5+ stars with reasonable rates, easy access to the MTR, and in the heart of expat central. The front desk struggled with English but I was still quickly checked in. The rooms are larger than you would expect for this class hotel. My room had a comfortable (a little hard) king size bed, large flat screen TV, free internet that seemed pretty fast, two bottles of free water, and side furniture. Even though my room was on the street side, it was quiet.||||The bathroom probably needs updating but is clean with a tub/shower, bottled shampoo and body wash, but had fewer amenities than normal for a Chinese hotel, the missing amenities are for sale in a reasonably priced kit. || ||Do not forget to retain your credit card slip used for a deposit because it will be needed, with the credit card, to claim the refund.||||Besides the price, the advantage of this hotel is that it is located on one side of Sea World Plaza and all of the restaurants and entertainment.
