A very pleasant hotel - typical Shangri-la - meaning lots of marble, crystal chandeliers and the signature scent in the lobby and most public areas. Conveniently situated in the "west of Suzhou Industrial Park area" (most hotels are classified as either "west of SIP" or "east of SIP"), within easy walking distance to the lake, numerous restaurants and bland malls, and the enormous Eslite bookstore. Opposite are its competitors the Hyatt Regency and the Niccolo. About 10-15 minutes' drive, depending on traffic, from the old town (Pingjiang Street) and 25 minutes from Suzhou Village factory outlets.||||Staff were generally professional, although some could have made an effort to smile a little more. ||||My room - a standard - was very spacious with high ceilings, but, as with many hotels in China, the room was very stuffy - even with the AC turned to its lowest temperature setting, it was uncomfortably warm, and there wasn't much the hotel could do - and the windows could not be opened for ventilation, either.||||Nice gym and indoor heated pool. Didn't get to eat at any of the restaurants as there are so many famous local restaurants.||||This is a very nice property, though I am keen to try the Hyatt on my next visit. I chose the Shangri-la on this occasion as its rates were slightly lower than the Hyatt's, plus it looked newer. Overall,...

可能是因为保安问题吧?||不知是否经济下滑?600元入住了性价比之王的五星酒店,是我捡到宝吗?||#高性价比酒店推荐 #苏州酒店 #苏州旅游 #商务酒店 #苏州酒店推介 #五星级酒店 #必睡榜试睡官招募 #金鸡湖 #0元玩转这座城 #苏州吃喝玩乐 ||A local friend recommended Shangri-La Hotel which is right next to her office. the price was such a great deal! Booking a month in advance only RMB 600 per night, and we were so lucky to got an upgrade . The room was incredibly bright, with large windows, and incredibly clean!||The lobby is traditional Shangri-La hotel design. At check-in, I met the incredibly polite ,helpful and engaging customer service representative, Ang Si Feng, ||Yvonne Bi added me on the hotel's WeChat account and responded immediately to every question. She was thoughtful and helpful with every arrangement.||Mrs. Chen Rongping, who cleaned our room, was always smiling and very professional. My room was immaculately cleaned every day. She is the most neatly groomed, clean, beautiful, and elegant cleaning lady I've ever met! The HR department has a great eye !||The room's cleanliness and maintenance were top tier of five-star hotels in China! I wonder if it was newly renovated? My room is really new! The price was four-star! What a great value!||Room was spotless and well-equipped. The blanklet didn't get too hot. The mattress, probably a zero-pressure mattress, was comfortable to sleep on. The pillow was a little soft, so I rolled a towel around my neck.||The shampoo had a luxurious lavender scent and was excellent quality, but the conditioning was average.||There was a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Tea and mineral water were also provided. Overall, I had a very good experience. The oval bathtub is spacious, but unfortunately there's no floor to drain the water. After using the shower head next to the tub, I dry the wet area myself. I love that the designer created a powder room next to the sink, complete with comfortable chairs—especially perfect for ladies. The curved sofa by the window is also very comfortable!||My room rate didn't include breakfast, but to write a good report about my Shangri-La experience, I went there for a special treat. The breakfast was buffet-style and incredibly filling! After breakfast, I could skip lunch! I personally think the Chinese food was exceptionally well-prepared. My favorite was the wonton noodles. I think all customers feel the same way! The noodle stall has a line all the time . They should double the size of the it and add a chef to help so customers don't have to wait.||I went to the swimming pool and took a look. It was pretty average!| The fitness room was quite large. I didn't like the fact that you have to walk down the stairs to get to the pool. There's no elevator to leave, so you have to walk up the stairs to go back to the room! This design is a bit strange!||I wonder if the economy is down? I stayed at a five-star hotel, the king of value, for 600 yuan. Did I find a great bargain?||#High-value-for-money hotel recommendation #Suzhou hotel #Suzhou travel #Business hotel #Suzhou hotel recommendation #Five-star hotel #Must-sleep list testers wanted #Jinji Lake #Explore this city for free #Suzhou...
