Howard Johnson Jinghope Suzhou — Hotel in Suzhou City

I've stayed at most of the international Suzhou hotels and know what to expect as standard. This hotel has a lot of potential but currently some big shortcomings. This staff cannot effectively cater to English speaking guests. Impossible to order room service or converse with some of the front desk personnel. I tried to order food from "Jason" the restaurant and the staff actually hung up on me. |Jason has far too narrow of a menu and does not compare to restaurants at other hotels in the area in terms of options. |I turned to the front desk to help me place a delivery order from an outside vendor and they refused. |The internet really crawls here and is just another point of frustration. |On a positive note, the rooms are nice and clean and well furnished. |Unfortunately, the incompetence in the staff is enough to make me look elsewhere, despite the good location and...

Howard Johnson Jinhope Suzhou is a nice hotel to spend a few days. It offers many in-room facilities like a big fridge, washing machine and ironing board. Room is very big and also has built-in cooking facilities and microwave. It is very convenient for staying a longer time. A nice clean comfortable hotel to stay in. Has a mini pantry with glass hob and microwave, washer n dryer, refrigerator. Basic utensil are also provided for simple cooking. Good breakfast selection however becomes quite boring after a few days. Nice view of Suzhou nite skylsights.
