The location is still ok, where there are bus stops not far away. And it is closed to Zhongshan Road and the Ferry to Gulangyu Island.||||However, here come the bad sides: ||1) The hotel is right next to the road, too noisy! I booked a Queen Room. The Front Desk offered me a room on 5/F. Firstly, the layout of this room was weird; it looked like a triangle. Secondly, there were a lot of mirrors in the room. The room looked too large without enough furniture. It made me so uncomfortable. ||||The window glass was bad for noise insulation! It sounded like the cars were running right above my head! In the end I could not tolerant it and asked the Front Desk to swift a room on the hihger floor for me. I would rather pay more to get a quiet room, rather than staying in such a noisy room. The situation got better after room was changed, but I could still hear the cars running on the road.||||2) Few plugs were set in my latter room. Most of the time, I had to pull out the plug for TV; then I inserted the chargers for my cellphone or electronic kettle.||||3) Cold air kept coming out from the air conditioner. The quilt was too thin. Although I turned up the temperature to so-called 30 degrees, I could still feel the cold wind chilling. In the end I had to turned off the air conditioner and got another quilt from the wardrode. But I was still freezing. And the quilt in the wardrode was much thinner, old and yellowed!!!||||4) The room is dark, which would make people feel down. If they could have set a daylight lamp, it would be much better. And no centralized controller was set in the room, so you had to go to different corners in the room to control the light.||||5) In my previous room on 5/F, I let the faucet on for a long time, but there was no hot water coming out. After I was swifted to the room on a higher floor, finally there was hot water there. I remember I also found a screwdriver near the faucet, so there was reason for me to the suspect actually no hot water was supplied in my previous room on 5/F.||||6) There were not many choices for breakfast and they also tasted bad. I looked around and hardly to find something decilious to eat, less than 10 types. I had checked the online comments about this hotel before I came here. It said the breakfast was excellent. I really doubt such people either had a rather low stardard on food flavors or they were just hired to advertise...

If you must stay in this hotel, get the lowest room type as its like their common tactic to give u lower grade room than the one u paid for. If u refuse, they will give u malfunction room like the one i got, water leaking from shower floor into room floor as they don't install stopper.Also, water leaking from water pipe at the sink. When we complained, their front desk acted barbaric and rudely, refuse to solve the issue until we got police involved. Then only, we were given a functional room similar to the size of our booked room past midnight. We changed hotel the next day with the help of trip.com cs as we initially book...
