Only had 2 nights here at the start of our tour of Colombia. Bogotá is a HUGE city and a lot of time is spent sitting in traffic.|The rooms appear to have recently been refurbed. Extremely comfortable bed with lovely pillows, decent bathroom and everything as clean as clean can be. The only downside is that the new furnishings barely fit in the room and there is nowhere to put 2 suitcases coats, boots and toiletries, if travelling for 4 weeks as we were. If a single traveller simply looking for a room for the night then the Dorado Ferial is perfect.|The staff were polite and courteous. We didn’t eat in the restaurant as we were bird watching and always up too early or back too late. However we did bring takeaways back to eat, and there is a fridge with juice/coke etc. It seems the done thing in Colombia to bring your own food into the hotels. A bit alien...
Read moreI booked this hotel thru bookings.com. My flight arrived late so I was very tired with torn ligaments in 1 foot. The doorman did help me with my luggage when I arrived and that was the end of the good service. I got in my doom to find a balcony door that would not lock and when I started to close the blinds the fell completely off the wall.||The next day it got worst. I told the front desk I was going to exchange $$ and would pay them when I returned. Read moreThe standard rooms are too small. They don't have a small table for you to organized yourself. The Junior suite is awesome but they don't have scape for the water at the hot tub so the bathroom stay full of water on the floor. There is no air conditioner, Bogota is cold... They must have some problem with exhaust fan because is a strong smell in the rooms in lunch and dinner time. But hotels are for us to sleep and take shower, so its perfect for that.
