We just got back today from an 8 night stay at Bog Urban in Bogota and I seriously never write reviews but I felt compelled to for Bog because we had a really great experience! As a family of four with two young children, it was a perfect place for us! The ladies at the front desk were super friendly and super helpful and the cleaning staff were great! The included breakfast was not super fancy but good and suited our needs; we were on the go all day every day so it was nice to come down, eat a quick breakfast, and go. It is true (from seeing other reviews) that the area isn’t “vibrant” but it is nice and super safe as it is true that it is mostly residential. But it’s a short drive to everywhere, including the airport, and you probably won’t stay in the area your hotel is the whole time you are there as there are attractions in all different parts of the city. I loved the La Candelaria area but I am glad we did not stay there and would not recommend it, just do a day or two visit. As a spoiled American :), the room size is a little bit of an adjustment at first but if you don’t hang out in your room all day, you’ll quickly get used to it. Lots of the other hotels seemed to have 2 full beds as the option for four people so it was super nice to have a king bed for my husband and I and 2 full beds for both of our young boys, made for good nights of sleep and the beds were super comfortable too! I did a lot of a research about where to stay before we went so I wanted to let others know and hopefully help others out in letting you know that you can’t go...
Read moreIt has been one of the best hotels where I have stayed. I went on March 2019 with my 12 month old baby, my mom, sister and brother in-law. I think this hotel should be categorize as one of the best places to stay in Bogota. Since I make the reservation to the day we left all and every single one of the people that worked there make you feel like home. Traveling from Texas to Bogota on a Direct flight for 6 hours with a baby was exhausting, but as soon as we walk in they had a nice warm cup of coffee. We stayed there for 15 days. Their rooms are clean and neat. Ohh their beds are very comfy, let me tell you it was not much different from my bed back home. I loved their breakfast, they had like 3 different breakfast options and I loved it. One of the best parts was that they were always asking how we feel and even washed my baby bottles every day. If you are thinking to come with your family and kids, this is one of the best places to come to stay . I just would like to thank everyone there from the manager to the desk attendants to the people who make the breakfast to the people that cleaned our room. You guys are the best and will definitely...
