Hotel Sheridan Corferias — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

I was very impressed with this hotel. It was incredibly affordable (by Canadian standards) and had everything you need. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable with good, clean bedding. The bathrooms were well appointed and modern. Each room has a massive television with tons of movie choices that are all included.||||The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They were always present and ready to call a cab or give us directions as best they could. I will say that the vast majority of the front desk staff doesn't speak English (I speak Spanish, so I could manage). They do their best to help, but it is something to keep in mind.||||The breakfast is included and runs until 11:00 a.m., which I was very thankful for (late nights in Bogota). The breakfast included everything you could want really. There was fruit every morning (melon, papaya, pineapple), juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There was also cold cereal and yogurt. They offer you eggs as you would like them cooked (I had an assortment of boiled, scrambled and omelette with ham and cheese). PESIMA, MUY TERRIBLE ATENCIÓNY SERVICIOAL HUÉSPED. Te hacen sentir como si estuvieras hospedado de gratis, como q te estuvieran regalando las cosas, mala actitud, no te ayudan a resolver cualquier inconveniente q tengas en sus instalaciones. Llegamos y el toilet tapado y no nos querían brindar ninguna solución porque como ya habíamos pagado la totalidad de la estadía se hacían los locos con darnos solución al problema. Decían q no podían cambiarnos de habitación porque ya tenían todo reservado pero buscamos para hacer una reserva nueva y si tenían cuartos disponibles. Por último nos dieron una chupa de plástico y no fueron capaces de destapar el baño ellos sino q nos tocó a nosotros mismos hacerlo. Al final no pudimos y lo único que hicieron ellos fue decir que podíamos usar el baño común que esta abajo en el restaurante 😤 En el tema de los desayunos q están incluidos en la reserva, éramos 3 adultos y una niña de 3 años y cuando fuimos a reclamar el desayuno nos dijeron q solo se podía reclamar 3 desayunos que porque la reserva era para tres personas no más y que LA NIÑA DE 3 AÑOS NO CONTABA 😡 y en eso se mantuvieron en toda nuestra estadía. Nos tocó pagarles el 4to desayuno diario por un valor de $13.000 pesos. También al parecer apagan el calentador para el agua caliente a ciertas horas del día porque solo en las mañanas tuvimos agua caliente, en las noches nos tocó bañarnos con agua fría. Para rematar el dia q nos ibamos nos habian quitado el agua y nos tocó llamar a recepción para ver q habia pasado, nos tocó esperar a q restablecieran el servicio de agua para poder bañarnos y poder hacer el check out.

Para colmo de pasa todo esto, los empleados te hablan de una forma muy despectiva cuando les pides algo, te hacen mala cara y te hacen sentir como si fueras una persona cansona. En conclusión no volvería a hospedarme en ese hotel ni porque fuera gratis y todo por el mal servicio q ofrecen sus empleados, porque las instalaciones son bonitas pero lastima lo mal q te hacen sentir y q si el hotel tienen ciertos problemas no los resuelvan, porque para eso les pagan a ellos pero no les importa. NUNCA MÁS VUELVO A ESTE HOTEL...

Hotel is a very short distance from the airport in a nice art of town about 15-20 minuets from airport.Hotel its self is nice . The room I had #504 was a little small but still a nice hotel. The shower had plenty of hot water and big enough to serve its purpose. There is an Olympica supermarket within a 10 minuete walk. Hotel staff was incredibly nice and polite.
