The manager Santiago was great. The hotel is nice and it’s all very new. I guess what I would say about it is that there is not enough effort put forward to assist foreign tourists in finding their way about. The staff is extremely friendly but I think they could do a little bit more to assist their guests with knowing where things are, where to get money, where to go and what to do as a tourist. The restaurant hours seem to be crafted for the convenience of the staff which is rather appalling. The staff are paid to provide service. Not to work when it’s convenient for them. Plan ahead and make sure you order your food with lots of time to spare. they have our restaurant hours and you’re never sure when they are open or when they are closed. In a word, this place needs a more professional outlook at all levels and a better understanding of the service industry. They should probably educate their staff about the history of HIIT and the expectations that go with that moniker. As I said earlier, the manager, Santiago was awesome! He spoke perfect English and came to my room to greet me and make sure that everything was wonderful upon check-in. There is no ATM within the hotel and that should be remedied immediately. That was actually kind of shocking and it forces you to take a cab or to walk the neighborhood which is not the best of places. There is a bank if you exit the hotel and turn to your right, you go to the first corner and take another right and then about a block down on the right you will see a couple of options for withdrawal of cash. You should also examine and fully understand the rate of exchange before you travel to Bogotá. It’s roughly 3800 pesos per dollar give or take.

Housekeeping is very inconsistent but that is not uncommon in Latin countries. It seems to be a general misunderstanding or lack of knowledge about what the service industry is based upon and what the expectations are in that capacity. They feel, it seems, that being nice is sufficient. They are always extremely nice and ready with an apology and as a world traveler, and someone who has worked in the service industry, it’s clear that they don’t understand that they should never have to apologize. They should simply do their jobs efficiently and correctly to begin with. “A man who is handy with an excuse is seldom good for anything else”,...

Our family’s stay at the Hyatt Place Bogota Convention Center felt more like a luxury experience at a Park Hyatt or Andaz than what you'd typically expect from a Hyatt Place. From the moment we arrived until our departure after four nights, we were treated like family.||The service was outstanding across the board—from the warm front desk receptionists, attentive doormen, to the hotel manager who personally ensured our comfort. Our room was impeccably clean each day, and the bed and sheets were so comfortable that I slept soundly every night. I especially appreciated the blackout curtains that kept the room nice and dark for sleeping and the bathroom was spacious and the shower was great with the sliding glass doors. ||I had read mixed reviews about the breakfast, so I wasn’t sure what to expect—but it turned out to be fantastic. There was a wide variety of options: hot food, eggs, bacon, Colombian soups, rice and beans, fresh pastries and breads, fruit, and cheese. It far exceeded a typical Hyatt Place breakfast—it honestly felt more like a high-end hotel buffet.||Special shout-out to Juan at the front desk, who went above and beyond by helping me buy tickets to a local soccer match using his own account, and even arranged safe, private transportation with Esteban, the driver. We had an incredible event thanks to their help.||The doormen greeted us every time we entered or left the hotel—they made us feel safe and genuinely welcome. And Andres, the general manager, personally checked in with me multiple times during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. His attentiveness made me feel like a VIP guest. Our two boys also received great care and attention during their stay that made them feel special and appreciated.||The hotel’s location is also excellent—within walking distance of great restaurants and just a short Uber ride from top attractions in Bogotá.||I'm so glad we chose this hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bogotá. It was the perfect combination of comfort, service, and...

Our family’s stay at the Hyatt Place Bogota felt more like a luxury experience at a Park Hyatt or Andaz than what you'd typically expect from a Hyatt Place. From the moment we arrived until our departure after four nights, we were treated like family.

✅ Outstanding Service The service was phenomenal—from the warm front desk team and friendly doormen to the hotel manager who personally ensured our comfort. Our two boys also received such kind attention that made them feel special and appreciated.

✅ Comfortable, Spotless Rooms Our room was impeccably clean each day. The bed and sheets were incredibly comfortable, and the blackout curtains made for perfect sleep. The bathroom was spacious with a fantastic shower and sliding glass doors.

✅ Amazing Breakfast Buffet I had read mixed reviews about breakfast, but it turned out to be fantastic: • Hot food: eggs, bacon • Colombian soups, rice, and beans • Fresh pastries and breads • Fruit, cheese, and more It far exceeded a typical Hyatt Place breakfast—it honestly felt like a high-end hotel buffet.

✅ Truly Personal Touches Special shout-out to Juan at the front desk for helping me buy tickets to a local soccer match using his own account, and for arranging private, safe transportation with Esteban, the driver. Thanks to them, we had an unforgettable night at the stadium. Andres, the general manager, also checked in with us multiple times to ensure everything was perfect. His attention made me feel like a true VIP.

✅ Great Location The hotel is within walking distance of several great restaurants and just a short Uber ride from Bogotá’s best attractions. 🛎️ I’m so happy we chose this hotel. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bogotá—especially families. It's the perfect blend of comfort, service, and...

The Hyatt Place Bogota is a wonderful hotel in a nice section of the city. They offer a great continental breakfast with a variety of fresh fruits, cereals, breads, and a few select hot dishes every morning. The hotel rooms are nice and easily fit a family of four with two teenagers. The bar makes quick and quality drinks in the evening and the dinner menu is nice although a bit pricey compared to what you can find at places nearby. The concierge service was very supportive and provided good advice on the area and the city. While many things are within walking distance some of the more popular museums (gold museum, Botero museum, etc) are a bit of a walk from the hotel. Taking a cab is a great option and very cost effective. Recommend getting the Cabify app for Bogota (its Uber for cabs). Happy Travels!

My family & I were in Bogota for my moms birthday and we had an amazing experience here. Everyone from the sub-manager, front desk, bartenders and front door were amazing. Hector the manager accommodated our early check in and provided great customer service. Front desk Jonathan Alejandra & Roger always kept a great attitude were very helpful and of service everytime they had a chance to help. Daniel from the bar took very well care of use making amazing recommendations on traditional Colombian cocktails! Thank you Hyatt Place Bogota we had a unique and extraordinary experience.

In A Nutshell: -This is an excellent Hyatt Place hotel to stay during your travels. -The location is good, pretty central from the airport, Usaquen & Monserrate. -The breakfast buffet is delicious w/ a well-rounded selection of hot & cold food. -The rooms are big & clean w/ comfortable beds. -I only wish the windows were better soundproofed because you can hear loud music from outside, so bring ear plugs. -The blackout shades like all Hyatt's block out any light. Overall, the gym has a really, really high-ceiling & there is a washer & dryer on the 6th floor.
