Black Tower Premium Hotel Bogota Corferias — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

Reception staff were attentive and the breakfast/food at the Imagine restaurant was great; however, I did experience several issues during my stay.||First, the jacuzzi in my master suite was unplugged upon and the buttons did not work to turn it off. The wooden stool was also broken upon my arrival. These were serviced the following day.||Second, my glass roof leaked twice during my stay, although maintenance stated they changed some kind of filter or something.||Third, The manager I think, he did not introduce himself, came and asked me if the jacuzzi was working ok, I stated yes. He then accused me of trying to steal all of the water in Bogota while I was using it normally. Some kind of black stain formed on the sides while I left it overnight. I used one of the towels to clean it and the manager stated he was going to charge me for a stained towel. He said I was cleaning my feet and that it could not have possibly come from the jacuzzi.||Third, it became necessary for me to cut my travel short due to a personal issue, and instead of offering me a refund for the remainder of my stay, they sought to accuse me of consuming and charging me for items from the minibar that I did not consume. Upon contacting them after I returned to the States, they again refused my request for a refund, seems they wanted to benefit from double renting my room during the last few days of my planned stay.||Check your room thoroughly if you choose to risk booking at this hotel. Most of the staff were fantastic, just issues with management and general maintenance and checking of the room. I thought it a good deal at the time, but...

Let’s start : We stayed the first night on the 4th floor facing the road and it was the worst night ever ., the bed was extremely small for Two people., the noise of the road was insane and in the morning there is an alarm from the garage that is constantly making noises ., to be able to breathe in the room you have to call the front desk and request air conditioning, good luck with that because they hardly ever answer down in the front desk . The ceiling had a horrible stain between grease , and finger prints and the next morning we requested to move to another room, I wish I moved to another hotel but we booked thru Expedia so we won’t get any money back ., The rest of the days housekeeping showed up around 5:30 pm , but what made me extremely upset was today a week after when checking out I was being charged for “ making a stain in one of the towels “ , also being accused of “ maybe cleaning my face with the towel “. I have never been so upset before . The quality of the towels is so poor that pretty much hurts to used it and on top of that I was charged for making a “stain” , I requested a picture and obviously never got it . The hotel has a nice lobby and they invest a lot trying to have a unique look , but no costumer service at all . The staff is not prepare and it is very stressful to even try to print a document . There is not a business center . Now I fell much better after taking my time and leave this review . Bogota has many more hotels where people can have quiet and peaceful nights . I definitely won’t recommend...

I stayed at The Black Tower Hotel last year as it was walk distance for our group to convention center as we had. Realtor show to attend there in Bogata ||||This hotel is clean however the walls are paper thin can hear everything and I mean everything ||||My 2nd night I heard from the room above me an the entire prostitution purchase with an older US man from there heals clicking across the floor to how much he was to pay them it was gross ||I could hear everyone sleeping peeing showering whatever ||||Tv would work off and on staff didn’t speak very good English and I barely speak Spanish ||||My Broker did complain to management the next day after my experience as I was so upset And crying over my whole not sleeping and hearing such commotion all not they didn’t do much gave us a free dinner big deal ||I would never go back to this place scard me to death ||Staff could care less of what happened but I’m guessing the allow the protatutes to come n go and maybe even take a cut discusting !!!!!! ||If you can pass up staying here much better...
