Having family that stayed at this hotel a few years ago and raved about it I was looking forward to staying here. The lobby looked lovely and fancy-there is a piano! It's right next to a small mall and across the street from an even bigger one. That's about the only nice things I can say about this hotel.

We reserved the family suite and while the room was much more spacious, it was clear this hotel hasn't been well taken care of. The bed was hard, the lampshades above the nightstand had mysterious stains on them, the fixture for the hand towels was broken, and the handle for the shower literally broke off when I turned it. The room smelled of must and mold; I had family also staying there who had to change rooms because the smell was so overpowering. There was a stain on the carpet and could clearly tell that they just cut pieces off and tried to patch things up haphazardly. The restroom is TINY and the shower had no door (only a curtain) so the water constantly spilled onto the floor-we had to put towels there to contain the water. I called down to let them know I needed laundry services and was assured someone would be by to pick up my laundry-no one ever arrived. There were cats milling about outside in the breakfast area which didn't feel exactly hygienic. We decided to shorten our stay, cut our losses, and leave.
