Hotel Malokamazonas — Hotel in Leticia

I stayed at Hotel Malakamazonas during the first week of October 2017. I could not have asked for a better hotel experience during my trip to Leticia, Colombia. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast were absolutely delicious and the food was different every day. You can tell that its ownership genuinely cares about their guests and legitimately want them to get the most out of their visit to this incredible location! The owner, Francisco, also has many solid friends in the area and is very adept at recommending the best restaurants and excursions. He's always willing to go above and beyond, and at times will even walk with you to various destinations in town to ensure that you won't get lost! His staff is also very kind and skilled. If I am ever blessed enough to get to return to Leticia, I will definitely stay at Hotel...

Good location to stay in Leticia, you can walk to the "center", restaurants and church with bird attraction. Also the hostal is in a quiet part of Leticia, not much traffic in the street in front.||the owner couple is lovely and will make sure that you have a good stay at their place. Accommodation is good value for money, nevertheless the rooms are basic and showers in the amazon provide only cold water (like probably most of the hotels/hostals in Leticia).||||We had to leave by boat early the next day, Francisco the owner went to the harbour in the morning hours, to book us the fairy, which can become crowded. Great place to stay and organize your Amazonas explorations Wonderful and quiet house, and yet walking distance from Leticia's bustling center, run by exceptionally kind and well informed hosts.
