One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.
The place was overcrowded (I honestly don’t understand the hype), and nearly everyone was eating the exact same thing, which seemed suspicious. After waiting several minutes just to be attended (understandable, given how packed it was), the server finally arrived—only to be incredibly rude.
I asked for multiple menu options, but none were available. The only thing they could serve was the so-called "American" breakfast—conveniently, the same dish 99% of the customers were eating. I reluctantly ordered it, along with some Argentinian empanadas (the main reason I came), which they assured me were available.
After another long wait, they finally brought a plate of cold eggs, a jar of milk, and coffee, again with an awful attitude. Just as I was about to start eating, the server casually mentioned, "By the way, there are no empanadas, just so you know." Seriously? Why not say that from the beginning? I then noticed them going around to multiple tables, saying the exact same thing after serving the eggs—as if they were intentionally forcing everyone to eat that dish.
After yet another long wait (with my already cold eggs getting even colder), I had to ask for a fork, since they hadn’t even brought one. I ate the food, and just as I asked for the bill, the server suddenly decided to bring a glass of orange juice. No comment.
Absolutely not worth the time, money, or...
Read moreThe lunch special is a little more than other places, but the food is much better, Also, the special not only comes with the usual soup, salad, and seco but also ice cream and a hot drink (un tino o areomatico). They're not giving out menus (like a lot of places), so you have to scan the QR code. Our waiter patiently explained what they offered because we didn't bring our phones along...
There's an old-school vibe about the place (to be expected from a 60 year-old restaurant!)... old futbol club and cycling photos, memories of nadaistas, French pastries, Argentinian empanadas, comfy chairs... What more could you ask for?
Head downtown and check it out today! Or don't (and leave more...

I ordered an Argentina Emprnada and it was full of meat and potatoes and very filling. The crust was nice and flaky so tak your time and enjoy eating it.
I sat upstairs and the service was top notch with a smile.
I headed back down to pay and noticed the amazing selection of pastries and desserts in the window.
After chatting with the friendly security guard I ordered a piece of chocolate cake. Super sweet and delicious 😋
I will be back!
