Hotel Americano — Hotel in Neiva

I'm a budget traveller so cost did sway me. We were given a clean, fifth floor room, twin beds and with air con which is essential in this hot town, Colombian digital cable TV (some in English). They do not have hot water for showers. Breakfast was the usual staple of eggs or eggs, bread, fruit, juice and a hot drink. They gave us a packed breakfast when we told them we would miss it as we were doing some excursions.||||The hotel is reached by some stairs from the street as the "ground" floor for them where the reception is, is technically on the second floor of the building. This hotel was one of the few listed on-line that wasn't super expensive. it's very nice, it's reasonable, and it's located in the city center on a pedestrian mall, which means you have to walk half a block to catch a cab. We were served a cold juice when we checked in, and one of the friendly and helpful employees walked us to a good nearby restaurant when we asked for restaurant advice. A good breakfast is included. Es war ein Kurzstop der dann verlängert wurde. Wir waren auf der Rückreise von San Augustin und wollte vor unserem Rückflug nach Bogota etwas ausspannen. Der Taxifahrer der uns nach Neiva brachte, empfahl uns das Hotel Americano. Es liegt in der Fussgängerzone, trotzdem hört man in den Zimmer nichts davon vom Strassentreiben. Es ist ständig von der Polizei bewacht, Polizeibeamte stehen vor dem Eingang 2-3 Stück. Man ist also sehr sicher in diesem Hotel. || Das Frühstück ist ausgiebig und Continental, wer es etwas tropischer mag bekommt natürlich auch ein landestypisches Frühstück. Die Zimmer sind funktionell eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Alle Zimmer haben soweit ich weiss TV und Telefon und was ganz wichtig ist KLIMAANLAGE !!! ||Es gibt noch einen Pool, wo man sich erfrischen kann. Und Ausflugstips erhält man reichlich von dem Personal. Service ist 1 A .||Die Preise sind gemessen an der Ausstattung sehr gut. Und was vielleicht auch noch wichtig ist es gibt Wi-Fi in der Lobby und 2 PC's die man kostenfrei nutzen kann. Das Hotel besitzt auch noch eine Bar, wer es am Abend etwas gemütlicher mag. Es war ein perfekter Ausklang unseres Ausfluges nach San Augustin. Und sehr zu empfehlen sind auch die Thermalquellen in der Nähe. Und ein Mexikanisches Restaurant (Tijuana) mit Live Musik ca. 100...
