This hotel has 3.5 stars, which I assumed was okay for my family given that we would be spending very little time at the hotel beside from the times where we were sleeping, eating or enjoying the pool.||||Our experience overall was awful: ||- Almost all the hotel staff was extremely rude, especially a blonde lady which other employees referred to as being one of the managers. On our third day, we woke up to no running water which lasted for approximately 12-16 hours, very early that morning my mother woke up and noticed there was no water therefore she went down to the reception where she was told that there was a plumbing issue and that it would be resolved as soon as possible which she understood and only requested a bucket of water, from the small reserve they had, so we could use it to flush the toilet and wash our hands. As the hours went by without receiving the water ,we decided to ask for it again even if we had to carry it to the room ourselves, to which they barely responded and just told us to go back to the room and they would bring it up, almost 12 hours later of our 6am request there was still no running water and no bucket of water, that's when we decided to complain and ask for a complete refund given the unsanitary conditions and the rude staff, then and only then we got the water we had waiting for since the morning.||||-The room was in terrible conditions, the paint from the walls was peeling off, the light switches were in very bad condition, the bathroom sink was detached almost completely from the wall and seemed that it could fall at any minute, the shower was extremely dirty and dark, the tv did not work well, and had many other disgusting aspects to it.||||- The restaurant was supposed to offer a la carte menu for each one of our meals except for breakfast. However, they served us whatever they had prepared for the day. The server in charge of breakfast and lunch was very nice, but the guy that had the night shift was the worse, he demanded for us to sit wherever he pleased which was by the kitchen door where you could hear everything that was going on. Also, he had the tv on at a very high volume and sat right behind us and would laugh loudly as we...

Read moreThis hotel is located in Rodadero, not in Santa Marta.||If you are a tourist, you should stay in Santa Marta, not here. And not in this depressing hotel.||The hotel is quite big, it hosts wedding and events. The breakfast room for instance is huge, with old furniture and quite depressing. The breakfast menu is varied (eggs, fruits etc) but quality is poor.||The rooms are very basic, you will feel like in a barrack with no hot water.||Considering the quality of the rooms and location and no hot water, the hotel is definitely overpriced. They will try to charge you even for the shampoo that in all the rest of the world hotels provide as complimentary.||There's nothing to do/see in Rodadero, we ended up here by mistake as we were misled by the address which led us think it was located in...
