Overall, we had a quite nice stay but in total price and value were just not in line. our AC did not work properly. we had to request maintenance in 6 out of 7 days as it did not cool the room, but just blew air. The road on the property is steep and the quads rented by nearly everyone in Santa Teresa are very very noisy when going up. This of course cannot be blamed on Maramar, but it was just not pleasant. We had a lot of big red ants in the kitchen and trust me we stayed in a couple of jungle lodges before where we had less ants. couch had a lot of stains and did not feel clean.

Read more26% grade access road to our condo was an adventure. Our parking spot was also 16% grade falling from driver's side to passenger side which was a new experience. Monkeys were all around but we couldn't tell if they wanted to hang with us or kill us... I can't imagine driving up to the condos in the rainy season, that might be a little more adventurous than most...
