4 Reasons Why I 💙 @outsiteco Playa Santa Teresa…
👩🏻💻The Coworking Space: the most important aspect of any coliving space for me is the wifi, and this has to be the best place to work from in Santa Teresa. I had no issues, just a minor hiccup that lasted 5 min. Since it’s an open air concept, there’s no AC so I’d usually spend my mornings there and afternoons in my room 🤓
😎 The lounge areas make it feel like you’re living in a jungle oasis - especially the pool area which is surrounded by sooo much greenery 🌱 - the private kitchen area and day bed were my favourite chill spots to relax and unwind…with company 😸
🏝️ The beach is literally steps away, which makes it easy to catch a few waves 🏄♀️ between meetings or watch the sunset 🌅 at the end of your workday
…and last but not least:
🥰 The community of Outsite members that you just click with instantly. The age group is roughly in the 30s - 40s range; a mature group of motivated professionals who know how to work + play hard 🥳 🍷 🏝️ 🎶 and share a common passion for travel and adventure 🛥️ ✈️ the Outside WhatsApp group makes it super easy to organize events/outings like the one we did as a group to Isla...
Read moreSanta Teresa is an incredible place to visit—the beach, the vibe, and the people are truly special. I definitely recommend coming here.
That said, I wouldn’t recommend staying with Outsight. The property itself feels past its prime: the community kitchen was very understocked (few usable dishes, knives, or forks), food often went missing from the fridge with no solutions offered, the washer was frequently broken, and the blinds in my room didn’t function properly. For the premium price point, the maintenance and amenities just weren’t there.
The biggest downside, though, was the community management. While the guests were wonderful, the community manager was consistently unhelpful and hostile when issues were raised, which really took away from the sense of community Outsight is supposed to provide. To make matters worse, reservations relied only on her version of events and didn’t take guest feedback seriously.
Santa Teresa itself is amazing, and there are plenty of other places to stay that offer better hospitality. Outsight, unfortunately, fell short on both service and upkeep, so I wouldn’t choose this...
Read moreStaying at Santa Teresa Playa was AMAZING! The location is a few minutes walk away from the beach, even closer to the local lunch spots and bang in the middle of town. It's really easy to get to the beach to swim or surf everyday. I extended my stay and it was super easy and simple, with quick communication from the booking team. Josefina is really lovely and welcoming, always recommending activities to do together and cool spots in town! One thing that I will mention, just in case you haven't been to Santa Teresa before, is that the electricity, wifi and water went off more frequently than expected, I don't think this was a specific problem at Outsite as it was so comfy even during the power outs it was okay, but I don't think there is a generator that runs for long after the power goes out, so keep that in mind if you have come to work in the rainy season. Overall I had THE BEST time, I made so many friends in Outsite, had the best experiences, explored the area and rented an ATV to travel around the peninsula. I would 100% recommend staying if you are...
