All facilities are like from early 90s - the value for money is unexplainable.|The houses are like made of paper, you hear everything from your neighbours to every car passing by - you can't even think of sleeping without an earplugs or sleeping mask.|On top of this the houses are very open with many wholes which made me feel very uncomfortable - bugs, mosquitoes, all welcome the second the light is on. The net provided is full of wholes.|In the morning we found a snake on the top of our car parked just in front of the house. It’s the snake’s right to be there no doubt but it certainly made me feel even more stressed about the wholes. |Last evening the internet barely worked and we had only cold shower.||The worst however was the owners behaviour. Her dogs attacked me in the morning, super unpredictable creatures. The owner offered no word of apology nor help and instead denied us breakfast because I screamed at her dogs when they were trying to jump on me and barking aggressively. I don’t know what would have happened if I hadn’t jumped on the closest highest point. I was shaken to the core. I've been told that they behaved like this because I stepped on the porch before 7:30, it was 7:20/7:25 and we had a breakfast booked at 7:30.|She was also very inflexible - we had a booked tour at 8:30 so we asked if we can have the breakfast served actually at 7:30 as we booked this time (the day before we had to wait around 30 min for serving from seating). The owner said|"this is not|how it works, at 7:30 you are seating down", she turned around and left with no other words of explanation, and so we didn't have breakfast because the owner apparently value her time and convenience more than the paying customers.||When I posted my review on the portal through which I booked the place the owner responded, calling me names, further offending me and lying about the facts. That all just further showcased her unapologetic rude attitude and lack of respect towards a paying customer and playing a victim where her only role was to support and help. In all my travels I have never encountered such unprofessional and rude behaviour. ||There is plenty of beautiful hotels around Santa Teresa which offer not only a great quality of facilities but most importantly take care of...

Read moreLuz de Luna is a little family hotel with charm and heart. Several bungallows spread across a very well kept garden, with many types of vegetation, that serve as home of many animals you can see from the terraces (monkes, squirels, birds, and lots of butterflies!) It is a sustainable place, hence not all of the bungallows have AC, if you need AC, make sure to request that or check the room description. Kitchen is well equipted, beds are super comfortable, very good location (like 10 min walk to the beach) and the best is the charisma of the owners. They are usually in the property and ready to help and support with anything needed. We had an issue with our car and the Cristobal, the owner was super helpful trying to figure the problem out and look for ways to solve it and he succesfully did! Definitely recommended and surely going again to this beautiful little paradise within a paradise...
