El Jardin de Playa Negra — Hotel in Cahuita

Never seen a place so cleaned and organized while just into the nature. The garden is full of all kinds of tropical flora and fauna. You definitely won't need to buy a tour to see colibris, butterflies, tucanoes. No words to describe how relaxing it is to sleep hearing the sounds of the jungle. The place is just few steps from stunning vulcanic Playa Negra and less than 10 minutes walking or 3 minutes cycling from Puerto Viejo. Romina and Paolo are super kind, always ready to help, to give the best reccomendation on what to do and to make you feel not just like another visitor but as a welcome guest. You can notice in every detail their passion for hospitality. They really care about their guests having a good time and they made my holiday there just great. I don’t understand the good comments, especially saying it’s quiet, because it’s not. Dogs are barking all night, cats are fighting to my door. The water is not drinkable the host say it’s written in the rules, but think it’s not good idea to write it in the kitchen. There is a camera pointing inside the living zone. I got electrical shock using old oven, someone entered in the place without advising, there is not enough parking, we hear all the noises from the other apartment so no privacy for us either,...

Really enjoyed my stay there. Rooms are clean and well maintained, in my opinion bit dark though but probably just fine in this climate, beach is in walking distance, PV a 30min walk on the beach, bikes for hire on the spot, the host lives in italy but the communication by what‘s app was first class and so is Maria the staff living on...
