Our family of four stayed three nights here in two rooms. The rooms were clean, comfortable , had a fridge , coffee maker and safe ( that we managed to jam - be careful not to shut charger cables in the door! ).|| We made good use of the swimming pool, very clean and cool, but deep! I am 5ft 2 inches and it was over my head, there is no shallow end, so if you are travelling with young children or non swimmers be aware. The pool was a god-send and I believe it is the only one outside of the super pricey and exclusive lodges. Nice location in the village away from the main road and close to the beach.||||It does get extremely hot in Tortuguero and bug spray is a must. ||Activities summary for Tortuguero:||Morning canal tour - amazing, worth going for in its own right||Turtle tour - extremely disappointing, too many people, no sense of fun/adventure, go and do it in Nicaragua instead! There you get 2 hours of turtles not 6 mins!||National park walk - meh, not worth paying $10 for on its own but go if you have paid the entrance for the day for the...
