We recently had the pleasure of staying at Arenal Volcano Inn in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, and I must say, it was a truly remarkable experience.

First and foremost, the location of the inn is simply breathtaking. Nestled amidst the lush greenery with a stunning view of the Arenal Volcano, the scenery alone is worth the visit. Waking up to the sight of the majestic volcano and surrounding rainforest every morning was a dream come true.

The staff at Volcano Inn were incredibly friendly and accommodating. From the moment I arrived, they went out of their way to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Their warm hospitality and genuine care for guests truly made a difference in my stay.

The rooms at Volcano Inn were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary toiletries and a mini-fridge. The balcony in each room provided the perfect spot to relax and soak in the incredible views.

One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant. The food was simply fantastic, offering a delightful fusion of local and international flavors. I particularly enjoyed their traditional Costa Rican dishes, which were bursting with flavor and made with fresh, local ingredients.

The inn’s proximity to various attractions and activities in La Fortuna was another bonus. Whether it was exploring the Arenal Volcano National Park, relaxing in hot springs, or embarking on exhilarating zip-lining adventures, there was always something exciting to do nearby.

Overall, my stay at Volcano Inn in La Fortuna, Costa Rica was nothing short of exceptional. The beautiful location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and convenient access to attractions made it a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend this inn to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay...

We stayed here as part of a Gate 1 tour. These are cute spacious bungalows with beautiful grounds having great views of the volcano. ||Each unit has high ceilings, AC and fan, a decent bathroom with a modern shower and a small kitchen type area with a mini fridge, sink and coffeemaker. The beds are also very comfortable. The TV is small, up in a corner, with only a couple of English speaking stations. The breakfast buffet is very good and has a large variety of choices. Daily housekeeping is available by leaving a card on your door. We took advantage of this especially since you are asked to not put toilet paper in the commode. (common in CR). ||There is a nice pool and jacuzzi. and you can see birds everywhere at this beautifully tropical well manicured property. If you go to the top of the hill near the back of the property you can get the best view of the volcano, sit on a bench and take it all in. The volcano seemed to be the clearest in the mornings and clouded up toward the afternoon. So do check it out at various times of the day for some great pictures!||Although the room was large, there was very little space for clothing. All we had was some open shelving. No dressers seems to be a thing in CR. Make sure you bring your own tissues too as none are supplied (another CR oddity). Also don’t count on Wi-Fi working in your room. It worked only briefly by the window, then would not connect. My husband needed to send an important file and was able to access the Wi-Fi at reception, with the assistance of some very helpful staff. Can’t complain too much, these were minor inconveniences, considering where you are located!||All in all, we were quite pleased with our volcano view accommodations. Its a perfect base for exploring the...

Our stay at Arenal Volcano Inn proved to be a comfortable retreat, perfectly located for exploring Arenal and the surrounding areas. ||||We stayed in a deluxe suite that offered breath-taking views of the impressive Arenal Volcano. Waking up to such a sight each morning was truly unforgettable and added an extra layer of charm to our stay.||||The hotel offers a decent pool area, perfect for soaking up the sun on warm days. While not overly luxurious, it provided a refreshing respite after a day of exploring the surrounding area. ||||Mixed Dining Experience: Although we opted to dine out in La Fortuna for dinner each night (there are plenty of good quality restaurants and bars to choose from- lost of life and atmosphere in the town and uber from the hotel was about $3), we did partake in the breakfast offered at the hotel, which was a fairly mediocre buffet style option. ||||Comfortable Accommodations: Our room was perfectly comfortable and provided all the amenities we needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was huge and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The large jacuzzi bathtub was perfect for a cold soak to sooth the sunburn! ||||Ideal Base for Exploring: Arenal Volcano Inn served as an ideal base for exploring the plethora of activities and attractions in the area. From volcano hiking and hot springs, to white water rafting (highly recommend Paddle9) and exploring the hanging bridges, there was no shortage of adventures to embark on.||||In conclusion, Arenal Volcano Inn isn't a luxurious hotel but is perfectly comfortable and offers prime views of the volcano. It's a solid choice for those needing nothing more than a comfortable base while exploring Arenal, La Fortuna and the variety of...

We booked it through Airbnb and we were so happy with it! It’s a hidden gem! The location is dreamy, it’s very clean and has lots of greenery all around. We felt like we could stay in the hotel and that alone would give us a great experience of La Fortuna. There are two pools (for adults and kids) and a jacuzzi. We swam in both, you can get big pool towels at the reception. Lots of people were swimming there, it’s a very nice and clean pool that lights up in the evening. Rooms were very spacious and clean. We got a crib for the baby which was waiting for us upon the check in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hernan was always available and made sure things were running smoothly in the hotel and at the restaurant. Now about the restaurant. The food was amazing! We had breakfast and also tried their dinner menu as part of the Que Bueno restaurant (extra charge, a la carte). Breakfast options were changing daily. We had meat balls, shredded chicken, chorizo, puncakes, plantain, gallo pinto, fruits, eggs, pastries - everything was delicious! The only minor inconvenience was Wi-Fi, it kept disappearing time to time but we still managed to get a few things done, it’s just not very reliable if you need to work or have a Teams call, for example. In our opinion, it’s a 5/5 stay and food! Would definitely recommend and come back there.

We absolutely loved loved loved the Inn. Every room is a standalone Casita. Big rooms, with incredible views of Arenal volcano. We were in a deluxe room right next to the observatory and we had so much fun viewing from our porch, room window, and the observation tower. It was beautiful behind the room as well with tropical scenery and a creek nearby. Plus, of course, the volcano. We loved the volcano. She only is clear about 10 minutes of the day; feels very special to catch her, and you are SO close. The pool is small but nice and the hottub is a nice touch. We loved wandering around the property. We also LOVED the restaurant. Wood fire pizza, and some of the best pasta we've ever had. The breakfast was lovely. We were only there 2 nights unfortunately (wish we'd stayed longer!) but the server remembered us and was so kind. The staff was wonderful and have the details down to a science. We felt very taken care of. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. 5 minutes to Baldi Hot Springs where we spent the morning and evening. Perfect.
