Hospedaje JJJ — Hotel in Liberia

This is a nice place for the first night after arriving in LIR. The price is ok and they offer a shuttle from/to the airport (15$, same like the taxi driver charge you).||The host is very friendly and the room (double room incl. bathroom) was clean. For 2 persons very small so I would not stay much longer than one night. The A/C was working fine.||They have a small smoking area in the back which you won't find so often in Costa Rica.||The shared kitchen is well equipped but a little bit unorganized. But the owner made us a nice coffee and some others were preparing their breakfast as well.||The place is just a few minutes walk away from the main bus stations where you can head on to every direction (also border to Nicaragua). ||All together a good place in case you just spend 1-2 nights. We spent the last two days of our Costa Rican vacation at Hospedaje JJJ and could not have been more pleased. The friendliness of Julio and his staff far exceeds what one would normally expect, especially for such low priced rooms. There are welcoming drinks, welcoming pineapple treats and a desire to please each and every guest. The rooms are plain and simple but the A/c works great. There is no hot water but we found that to be no problem given the climate - the fresh water in the showers is just fine. There is a full, well stocked kitchen for guests should you choose to cook in. At the same time it is situated in a delightful neighborhood of many choices at which to find a good meal.
