Hotel Primavera — Hotel in Liberia

I was in this hotel for 8 days , September 15 thru 22 . This is not a hotel but truly a home ! My room number was 1 and literally next to the office / reception . I do not speak Spanish nor I understand a word but I never felt lost ! All the staff members were superb and have a genuine smile . By the way , myself a hotelier [ Director of human resources ] for 12 years in the biggest hotel of Bangladesh during 1981-93 . I am widely travelled , so far 44 and Costa Rica being the 45th . Honestly , this hotel offers very basics but at a reasonable price . I will remember Sofia for a long time . I wish the hotel very best...

Perfect for the price point. Super cheap but clean and functional. Super central and close to everything. Hidden down what looks like an alleyway so took a second to find it. Someone parked like a dick at the bottom of the stairs which made it tricky to navigate but got through. Even though the lady in the evening didn't speak English she was super sweet and used a translation app to communicate. The gentleman who checked us out in the morning was friendly as well. Perfect for a quick stop over if you are waiting for a flight or just need a place to crash...

Well located in Liberia, walking distance to both bus stations and the main strip of shops. Quiet at night. Large rooms, layout is a bit weird but they're excellent value.
