Excellent attention and demonstrated a quick response during the accident.

The property was very beautiful. There were many trees around. The pool was right in front of the rooms. The trees made the property cool inside. The staff was very friendly and courteous with everyone. The food was good, the rooms were clean, the beds were soft, and so were the pillows. Overall, the stay was perfect.

The only inconvenience we had was that the bathroom floor was not non-slip, which caused me to fall sideways and hit my hip. We reported it to reception, and they were super attentive. The hotel manager introduced herself, even took me to a clinic, and they covered all the medical expenses for the X-ray examination. While waiting for the results, the hotel manager was really friendly, talking with us, sharing about his family and life. We also shared about ourselves and mentioned that we were traveling for my mom's birthday.

Fortunately, nothing was broken or fractured, but I was left in with pain, they took care as well of the medication I was prescribed and they also took care of providing dinner.

The next day, they sent a birthday cake to my mother, which was very nice. Everything, the food, the employees, and the cleanliness were excellent. We are just hoping that they consider putting something non-slip in the bathrooms to prevent the accident from happening again. I booked this hotel on the last night of my trip to Costa Rica to stay for the night before an early morning flight as it is near the airport. I was a little iffy on staying here based on the mixed reviews I found on Google but was comforted by the fact that most people said it was clean. And boy was that a mistake! I would absolutely not recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a nice stay. This is the kind of place that hands you room keys with the remotes for the A/C and TV upon check-in. While I certainly wasn't expecting luxury, I was expecting that the rooms, were clean and properly maintained. I almost walked out but didn't because it was late. ||Pros|- Close to the airport |- Front desk staff were polite|- Parking is included||Cons|- Rooms are old and dingy|- Linens were literally threadbare and old|- Bathroom was so small that the counter is literally cut in a specific shape to allow the door to open|- Shower barely drained|- Parking space was limited and tight - parking was basically outside each room|- Rooms were noisy - there's the road, I could hear furniture moving from the room above, noise from the courtyard that is outside the room door, and the beds creaked loudly ||There is no way that this is a 3-star hotel. I would struggle to give it 2-stars and I don't think you can get any more budget than this. Probably an upgrade if you're used to the hostel life but not...

Overall not terrible, but definitely not great.

pros: -nice pools and courtyard -nice location, easy walking to grocery store, shopping centre, and liberia city centre -ac worked great -wifi decent but does cut out for 5-10 minutes randomly, ive had worse though -staff was pleasant -breakfast was ok - fruit, toast, and a lady makes omlettes to order, that's about it, but all that is needed

cons: -no english whatsoever - no their fault, i dont speak spanish, but as a growing tourist hub, some english would be good - when i say no english, i mean no english whatsoever, it took five minutes just to ask them to call a cab...this goes for liberia in general though -room is basic - the bed is fine and ac is fine, but cold showers, no fridge, no nothing basically, just a room..im ok with that, but im sure others would feel slighted -no pool hours - my last night i had an early flight out and the pool is literally 10 feet from my mom - kids were up swimming and screaming until midnight - like i can live with no coffee maker in my room, even cold showers, but if i cant get a good night sleep at a hotel, something is the matter...for this reason alone, ill never stay...
