One of the Best Locations We've Stayed in Croatia!
Our stay in this apartment was absolutely fantastic, making it one of the most memorable experiences we've had in Croatia. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The apartment truly had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The room was tastefully decorated, featuring unique wall art with exposed natural stonework that added a special charm. It was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a fridge right in the room. We also appreciated the ample space for storing our clothes, drying towels, and the fast, reliable Wi-Fi.
The private bathroom was excellent, equipped with a powerful shower that was perfect after a day of exploring. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, making it easy to prepare our own meals. Additionally, the apartment had a washing machine and an iron, which were convenient for longer stays. The welcoming and bright hallway, stocked with brochures and maps of the island, was a thoughtful touch that helped us plan our daily activities.
The location of the apartment was extraordinary, right in the heart of the old town. It was close to everything—just a short walk to the taxi boat, the port, and the stunning Beach Zakerjan, which offered a beautiful view and was perfect for a refreshing swim while visiting the old town of Korčula. The city walls provided much-needed shade, making it an ideal spot even during the hottest part of the day. The apartment was also conveniently close to Sunset Point, several great restaurants, and a free parking area. Despite being in the center, the neighborhood was very quiet at night, allowing us to rest peacefully.
One of the charms of staying on an island like Korčula is the opportunity to explore and discover some of the most beautiful beaches, such as Bačva, Pupnatska, Žitna, Orlanduša, and Lumbarda (where you can find a sandy beach). We loved that the apartment's location was also near St. Anthony's Monastery, which is easily accessible by car. The view from the monastery is breathtaking, and the sense of calm that the place exudes is truly special.
Additionally, the proximity to the taxi boat made it incredibly easy to enjoy some island hopping to Vrnik and Badija, adding even more adventure to our stay.
We absolutely fell in love with this location and the island of Korčula. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this apartment again—it was perfect in every way. We honestly couldn't find a single thing to...
Read moreWe are a party of 4 (2 couples). We booked one Double Room, which is on the 2nd floor of a shared building and the Studio Apartment, which is on the third floor. We stayed for 3 nights.||The Double Room allocated to us is just nice for 2 persons, with not much space for luggage. However, the Studio is incredibly spacious, with a private balcony, bathroom and kitchenette and a huge dining table. It has 2 sofas which can be slept on comfortably, besides a double bed. Lots of shelves and wardrobes for storage. The Studio also overlooks the port, and has a nice view of the sea.||For those booking the Double Rooms, there is a common kitchenette with a washing machine to be shared by guests next to the rooms.||The location of House Dijana has to be its main selling point. Centrally located at the fringe of the Old Town, we could easily walk everywhere to explore the city at any time of the day (to avoid the crazy crowd). We only got to meet Dijana and not her mom during our stay, and she was gracious enough to let us use a parking card for a nearby shopping mall for us to park our car over the 3 nights we were there.||All the amenities worked well in both the room and studio. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and wish we had more time to stay at the...
