Hotel Villa Cittar — Hotel in Grad Novigrad

We actually cycled from Motovun to Novigrad to reach this hotel and initially I was very disappointed as my family and I cycled past ... numerous fast food stalls, seriously touristy open fronted beach shops and gaggles of street vendors ... this whole area felt rather cheap and dirty. A little like a kiss me quick Blackpool era. However once we entered the hotel it was a VERY pleasant surprise.||||The hotel itself is modern,clean and well run, the staff are professional, friendly and the service excellent. Breakfast it also plentiful and varied ;) We spent two nights in this hotel and if you close your eyes to the surroundings and walk into the old town or perhaps to the park / marina it is a lovely place. It also has some hidden gems ... roof top private sun bathing and Jacuzzi.||||We remarked that although the hotel is lovely it is just not in the best location, the staff agreed and said that they are always full, but guest love to stay and walk the old town or marina ... seems that's...

We stayed here for one night while on a cycling holiday in Croatia. The hotel is quite new, the rooms were very well furnished and decorated and a decent size - the aircon was effective and not too noisy. The location is close to the town centre and harbour but reasonably quiet (we were at the back and the only noise that we had was from seagulls at dawn, we heard nothing from the road. The breakfast was a good selection and of high qualitt and it was pleasant to be able to eat outside on the shady (at that time of day at least) terrace overlooking the road. No complaints here at all and I would recommend it as a good quality (albeit quite bland) place to...

I have been to 4-star hotels and even 5-star service could have lessons with the staff of this hotel.||The service always friendly and think the good of the client, is very good.||The rooms are spacious and well equipped, not usual for this category of hotels.||The restaurant has more fame than quality, but the small bar and terrace in front of the hotel is the ideal place for a drink.||I was amazed...
