Hostel Canki — Hotel in Grad Zadar

I enjoyed my stay here a lot. Considering the low roomrate, this place is awesome.||||Location:||This is located in a residential area 20~30 min northeast of the old town entrance. It's not an ignorable distance to come and go at least once a day. But, this is quiet instead. ||||Facility:||Guest rooms are located on the 1st floor (2nd floor for Asians). ||This hostel has wide rooms and a good kitchen. Meanwhile, there aren't enough power outlets. In my dorm room, they just prepared one extension cable and that's the only spot. In the kitchen, with one power outlet, there's no air conditioner nor fan. It was nicer if they had a proper kitchen knife rather than handy ones.||The biggest problem I had was I fed myself to many mosquitos. I stayed here for three nights with my colleague and I can honestly say that this is the best hostel I've been to. Our room was spotless and spacious, and the whole hostel was extra clean. Marko (the owner) and his charming family are one of the nicest people I've met and they were constantly spreading this warm and positive atmosphere. They were more than hospitable to us, they even brought us umbrellas when it rained. I really felt like I was at home and I will definitely come back and honestly recommend it...

I was recently in Vir and decided to visit Zadar for a couple of days because those two places are so close. The hostel was pretty cheap, and I wanted a small room because I am traveling alone.
