Perica Apartments — Hotel in Grad Zadar

There are only two negative aspects about the Perica Apartments. ||1. It wasn't really easy to find. We were circling around the area but couldn't figure where the place was, luckily the owner had a feeling about us coming and she found us.||2. The place is a little bit hard to reach if you don't have a car.||But the overall experience was wonderful. The owner treated us like family. She offered us drinks and food. I never had such a warm welcome. The apartments were also really nice. New and spacious. We had a small tv but that wasn't really a problem since we didn't care to watch any. You can get lost around the neighborhood as everything really looks the same. The beach is just a 10 mins walk but it was a bit dull as we came from Bol and had experienced Zlanit rat and actually the beach in Zadar is no comparison. Anyway Zadar is a really lovely city less touristry compared to other croatian cities thus allowing you to find better value...

A very nice place to stay in when you are in Zadar. The hotel offers few fully-equipped apertments for low prices. Also the sea isn't so far as well as some markets, restaurants, bus stop etc. We were here last summer and it was amazing experience. The owner welcomed us in his apartment with welcome drink, gave us useful advices and information about the city, where to go, his favorite bakery and restaurant. He even offered us to borrow his bikes to travel to the city center. We agreed on that the weather wasn't good for cycling, so he took us there and back by his car. Stayed here a couple years ago with friends whilst we were in Croatia for a festival and wanted to see a quieter less touristy side of the country and relax on the coast. Clean and well equipped apartment, tv, wifi, shops and beach within walking distance.... but the greatest part was the owners Chris and Maria. From the start they treated us like family - picked us up from the airport, cake and fruit on arrival! Dropped us in town, and told us many interesting stories. Great base to travel in to see Zadar (there are also some clubs, bars places to eat, etc a cheap taxi ride away)!
